Meet Willow and Kane in the newest stand alone by Harper Sloan! NOW AVAILABLE on the following retailers:
Five Star Review by AshleyHarper Sloan is one of my go-to authors and while this book is a departure from her norm it is no less brilliant. In fact, it may just be my favorite of her works (sorry Beck & Dee). Perfectly Imperfect was a true honor to read. It is bold, brave and powerfully moving. My heart is so full and I think I must've hilighted half of the passages. There was so much to love; especially Willow and Kane. Willow- there are pieces of her in everyone. EVERYONE. I absolutely love her. She is a beautiful mess but finds a way to pull herself out of the situations that bring her down. What she has survived and lived with and through is enough to break anyone down. Especially since it came at the hands of those who should've been there to help hold her up. I could go on and on and on about those people but I won't. Just know that there are a few people you will want to karate chop. Willow has had enough and finds it within herself to make the changes she needs to. For her. Nobody else. And I think that may just be my favorite thing about her...But she didn't go it alone. She had her two best friends, Eddie and Kirby to help her along the new path she found herself on. The things these two would say, had me in stitches. Especially Kirby with her unapologetic telling of how it is. And that isn't limited to Willow, she doesn't hold back with Kane either. Kane is another story all together. That man. I loved his gentleness and persistence. He did what he had to do to get what he wanted; Willow. The magic he worked behind the scenes to get her into his orbit had a goofy grin on my face. Though it isn't all smooth sailing for them, they find a way to lean on each other and be each others strength when they need it. When push came to shove it was Willow, with her warrior heart, that came to save the day. She didn't let anything hold her back for doing what she knew was right. Insecurities and haters could stick it. She is strength personified and her actions in the face of the turmoil proved just how much she had grown. I didn't just read this book, I felt it. I laughed, I cried (oh how I cried), I swooned, I got angry- you name it, I experienced it while reading Perfectly Imperfect. This book- just yes. Harper Sloan went above and beyond and gave us readers a piece of herself. Please read her letter and the start of the book and her thank you's at the end. They are both so full of heart and hope. #IAmWillow About the Author Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her eReader attached. She enjoys bad reality TV and cheesy romantic flicks. Her favorite kind of hero--the super alpha kind! Harper started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.

There were two things Emmit Lewis loved. Racing cars and Adaline Morgan. Time was stolen from the two young lovers and Emmit vowed never again would he allow anything to come between the two of them. Blurred lines both on and off the track have Emmit being tested beyond his limits. Will he reach the checkered flag and ignite Adaline’s heart, or will he be black-flagged and lose everything he has ever dreamed of?
AMAZON *** iBooks *** B&N *** KOBOEXCERPTThe last time I stood in victory circle, Emmit had won his first NASCAR race and he had searched the crowd for me. This time, he went straight to the camera and began talking as he took small sips of something someone put in his hand. Robert reached over and changed out Emmit’s baseball cap to another sponsor’s hat. My lower stomach tightened as I watched Emmit’s every move. His sweat-soaked hair peeking out from under the baseball cap lit a fire in my body that I tried desperately to ignore. Bastard. I wanted to be angry with him, but I couldn’t. “He’s so damn good looking. What I wouldn’t do to spend just one hour in his bed,” some girl behind me said. Turning, I gave her a fake smile. “Tell me you don’t agree,” she said to me. With a smirk, I said, “I’ve graced his bed plenty of times.” With a huge smile, she said, “Lucky bitch.” I rolled my eyes as I pushed all thoughts of Emmit and my horny body away. The freedom of not feeling the need to have Emmit’s hands all over my body lasted for a whole minute. Once his gray eyes found mind, I held onto my breath. There was so much more to Emmit than how he made my body feel during sex. One of my favorite things he ever did was place his hand on my lower back as he guided me through a room. Or, to a table for two in the corner of a romantic restaurant. Oh, yes … there was so much more to him. Giving me a smile, Emmit said something else to the reporter and then nodded his head and turned to his team as they continued to celebrate. Daddy had gone up and given Emmit a quick hug and said something to him that caused Emmit to let out a laugh and agree with whatever Daddy said. Emmit took the champagne and shook it up as he sprayed everyone. Security had allowed Ashley to go up to Emmit. He pulled her into his arms and hugged her for a good thirty seconds before pulling back and kissing the tip of her nose. My heart dropped as I thought about how much I wished that had been me. I started making my way through the crowd. Glancing back over my shoulder, I watched as Emmit posed for pictures and continued to celebrate his win. Turning back to the front, I wondered if he would even notice I had left.Kelly Elliott is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has a knack for making her laugh almost daily and supports her crazy ideas and dreams for some unknown reason...he claims it's because he loves her! She’s also a mom to an amazing daughter who is constantly asking for something to eat while her fingers move like mad on her cell phone sending out what is sure to be another very important text message. In her spare time she loves to sit in her small corner overlooking the Texas hill country and write. One of her favorite things to do is go for hikes around her property with Gus....her chocolate lab and the other man in her life, and Rose, her golden retriever. Title: Solving Us
Author: Susan Renee
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 17, 2015
Twenty four year old Olivia is trapped in her own life, struggling to escape the painful scars of her past. Moving in with her best friend and old college roommate, Olivia seeks a life of independence, happiness, and love. Above all she desperately seeks a life not defined by her physical appearance.
Finn's world collapses with one shattering phone call. Seven years later, though successful in the family business, he still struggles with guilt, depression, and an unwavering need to protect what’s important to him.
A serendipitous encounter could quite possibly change both of their lives, but what happens when they find out that they both have broken souls and what happens when the ugly pieces of each other are exposed?
“To sisters before misters…or however that goes!” Abby shouts over the music.
“Hahaha! Chicks before dicks!” I shout back at her.
“Amen! Holes before poles, Liv!”
We toast and shoot back our drinks, almost spitting them out we are laughing so hard. I love hanging out with this girl. “Hey I love this song; let’s go. I want to see how close we can get,” I say to Abby. “Somebody To Love” is one of my favorite songs, and I have to dance some more, especially as good as this buzz is making me feel. I close my eyes as I become hypnotized to the beat of the music and focus on the lyrics. This song makes me think of Finn every time I hear it, which is at least during every morning run since it’s on my workout playlist.
My body sways to the beat of the music as I move my hands up my neck and into my hair until my hands are high above my head, and I’m in a happy place or tipsy bliss, all by myself, entranced by the words Adam is singing about falling in love and never being the same.
Ain’t that the truth!
The second verse starts as I feel one of the guys nearby slide his hand around my waist and pull me towards him. A giggle escapes me as our bodies move to the pulse of the music. He can dance and move my body with such strength and fluidity. Abby and I have been dancing with a group of people off and on all evening, so I have no idea which one of them is dancing with me now, but I close my eyes and allow myself to dream that I’m tied up in Finn’s body dancing to my favorite song.
I should’ve asked him to come.
I contemplate the thought of Finn seeing me dancing with another guy when the hand that was holding my waist is joined by another. Both hands slide smoothly down my stomach to my thighs and back up lifting the skirt of my dress just a tad on the ascent. At the same time, I feel warm soft lips touch the left side of my neck, my favorite spot. Before I realize what I’m doing, I lean my head back against the man behind me.
Am I too drunk?
Olivia, you’re drunk; this needs to stop.
Open your eyes, Olivia!
Someone is touching you, and it’s not Finn.
He’s not here, remember?

Over my dead body.
That's what I told Gracie when she informed me of her plan to pick some random guy she met online to get rid of her pesky virginity. If anyone is touching her, it's going to be me. I shouldn't even be considering it, but I can't get it out of my head: her, under me, begging me. *** Arrogant. Cocky. Prick. Those are the words Iâd use to describe my older brotherâs dangerously handsome best friend. When he learned of my plan to kick off my white cotton briefs, ditching my good girl persona once and for all by losing my virginity to the first eligible bachelor I could find, he flipped out. Said over his dead body. He says if anyoneâs going to do it, itâs going to be him. I hate that Iâm even considering his offer. But I am ⦠I sooo am. Ever since he suggested it, all I can think about is his cocky smile on those full lips as heâs driving in to me. But if we cross that line ⦠will I ever be able to go back? MONSTER PRICK, a sexy romantic comedy, is a spin off novella from SCREWED, but can be read as a standalone, as it features a new couple.

âWhat if I could help you?â
I have no idea what the hell I was thinking. The words just leaped out of my mouth. Listening to Gracie talk about kicking off her granny panties and popping her cherry with some random Internet dick...I guess it drove me temporarily insane.
But there's no taking back the idea now. Gracie sucks in her breath, blinking wide-eyed. âWhat do you mean?â she asks.
What do I mean? Here I am, sitting next to the world's most beautiful girlâdrowning in her eyes, her scent, the gentle puff of her breath on my mouth that begs me to close the distance. I know what I want, but I also know what will happen if I take it. My best friend will rip off my balls and feed them to me. And I'll probably deserve every second.
But sweet Jesus, I'm pretty sure Gracie wants this, too, and that's enough to blow my better judgment to pieces. All I care about right now is making her feel better. In as many ways as possible. And if her slightly quickened breathing, blown pupils, and flushed cheeks are anything to go by...
As an experiment, I dart out the tip of my tongue to wet my lips. Her darkened eyes drop like a magnet yanked them. Yeah, bingo. Having a little black book as thick as the dictionary has its advantages. I know damn well how to tell when a woman wants me.

“Hello, ladies.” His voice purred, sending vibrations through my body.
It was him. My beautiful mystery man. The one who I’d seen plenty but never spoken to. He was standing in front of me, smiling. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have been so surprised. There weren’t many bars in our little neighborhood where you didn’t need a Hep C shot before you entered. This particular establishment promised an impressive beer menu without the risk of a communicable disease, so it would stand to reason he would know about it too. “Hi.” Was all I was able to manage, convinced he was probably talking to someone else. Perhaps he meant the Amazonian redhead who was sitting to my left, openly staring—that would make a hell of a lot of more sense. They could probably shoot joint commercials for teeth whitener and make adorable, if not freakishly tall, children together. “I couldn’t help but notice your friend stole your drink. Ordinarily I’d overlook such thievery, but I’d hate for there to be a brawl in my favorite bar. So in the interest of keeping the peace, I’d like to replace it for you.” His voice smooth, as was his delivery. I had to remember to breathe. “She wasn’t going to drink it, but you can totally buy her another drink,” Renee answered before I’d gotten the chance. Her smile widened as she turned to face me and mouthed the words “he’s hot.” She needn’t have bothered; his hotness was not something that needed to be confirmed. “That’s okay, I’m good.” Thankfully words came out of my mouth even if they sounded in no way intelligent. “Well, glad to hear you’re good. Nice to meet you, my name is Rusty.” He smiled as he moved in closer, his hand signaling the bartender. “What were you drinking?” In what I can only explain as temporary insanity—probably from the shock of having the beautiful man talking to me—I blurted out, “I have a boyfriend.” I officially wanted to die. While I did have a boyfriend, and hopefully in a few hours I would be moving into his upscale apartment, there was no reason to announce it so dramatically. Almost as if to prove that I hadn’t secretly fantasized about him while in the shower every day this week—which I had. Sweat prickled at my brow. “Is that some code for you’re not thirsty?” Rusty’s lips curved in amusement. While the words weren’t sexy, the humor in his voice was a definite turn on, a hot button straight to my libido as he stood there grinning at me. “No, I-I just mean I can’t accept . . .” What was the word again? “A drink from you.” Yes, that’s what I wanted to say. “Or . . . or anyone else. N-not just you.” My mouth tried to regain some composure. It really wasn’t doing a great job. “Well, would you look at the time? I have a thing, wouldn’t want to be late.” Renee tapped her naked wrist—her watch missing in action, as was her tact. “Call me, Ali.” She gave me a hug and whispered, “If you don’t screw this guy, you’re dead to me.” And just like that, she evaporated from the room. Awesome. “Your friend always bail on you like that, Ali?” Rusty’s voice curled seductively around my name as he smiled, moving to the barstool Renee had vacated.
“It’s Alison.” Ali was just too personal, like him kissing me on the mouth. I totally would not have been okay with that. Mostly.
Author Bio
T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.
T's approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience. With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world. While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog. An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn't lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past "colorful" experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don't have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn't let it go. T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly enjoying the ride! Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.

I am a high school English teacher, an author, and a fan of anything pink. I am truly the English teacher cliché; I love cats, reading, Shakespeare, and Poe. I currently live in my hometown with my husband Chad; our cats Arya, Amelia, Alice, Bob, and Marjorie; and our Mastiff Henry.
As the author of two novels, Voice of Innocence and Without You, I have many inspirations in my life as a writer. My parents instilled in me a value for education and reading from the time I could talk. One of my earliest memories is sitting with my parents as they taught me to sound out words. My husband has also inspired me to pursue my dream of writing. I met Chad in an art class when we were only twelve. He has shown me that love is real, is enduring, and is our most important ally in this sometimes harsh world. He has supported me through this entire process, believing in my writing even before I believed in it myself.
My hope is that by becoming a published author, I can inspire some of my students and other aspiring writers to pursue their own passions. I want them to see that any dream can be attained, and publishing a novel isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I smiled to myself. He was a handsome, adorable intellect with the body of Bruce Lee. I could work with that. I spied a door off to the left of the living room and walked over to it. I cracked it open and saw a prone figure lying on a large bed in the middle of the room. Not for the first time, I hoped Watson wasn’t lying in wait for someone to attack him. That would be very bad for my continued existence. I crept over to him and put a hand on his bare shoulder. He lay on his stomach, one arm over the side of the bed and his face buried in the pillow. His shoulders rose and fell and I breathed a sigh of relief. He was alive.
That was good. I tried to shake him awake, but there was no movement or stirring. I leaned over, and whispered, “Wake up.”
Nothing. I was apprehensive about using the syringe, especially since I had no idea what was in it, but I figured Watson wouldn’t have given it to me if he didn’t trust the contents. I pulled it out of my pocket, shuddered when I saw, again, how big it was, and uncapped it. I turned on the lamp on his nightstand so I could see better and hovered over Watson, my heart beating about a thousand miles per hour. I really, really, really didn’t want to stick him with this. But I also really, really wanted to live.
Remembering Watson’s instructions, I slid the blanket down to Watson’s ankles and stared at his delicious rear end, covered only in a pair of green cotton pajama pants.
Maybe he did this to me on purpose and he was playing dead. I poked him again with a finger.
