The sins of the father became those of the son.
Wrath for taking what was precious to me.
Greed for the lives that were mine to kill.
Sloth for the destruction against their will.
Lust for revenge and the blood I’d spill.
Gluttony for the souls I craved.
Envy for the spirits I had yet to take.
Pride for the birthright I’d soon fulfill.

One look.
One moment.
One girl.
She was all it took for me to lose my focus.
Sienna Luciano, my eighth deadly sin.

It was the end of me, but not my legacy.
It was only the beginning of...

El Diablo’s resurrection.

Allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Crucifixio Martinez.

4 Heart Review by Ashley

Holy crap! M. Robinson has done it again. I didn't know how she could top El Diablo but she did it. And she did it in a major way. This book was dangerous, devious, dark and deadly. I was invested from the first chapter. The events that unfolded there laid the groundwork for one wild and unexpected ride.

WOW! Cruz was a force and a half. Bold and unapologetic and with the actions to back up the swagger. He was on a mission and no one was going to stand in his way, not even himself. Too bad Sienna didn't get the memo. She was fiery and unafraid to go to war with the devil. She was his match and his weakness even as she made him stronger. She pushed his buttons at every turn but he never wavered in his devotion to her.

There was so much back and forth between these two that I never knew what the next moment would bring. And that final twist had me absolutely blindsided. Talk about whiplash. It was perfectly executed in only the way M. Robinson can pull off. The tension. The anger. The rush to find answers. The anticipation. Gah! All of it combined to make Cruz and Sienna's journey hard to put down.
