The Last Book in the New York Times Bestselling Dark Romance Series.

Where love tries to triumph and darkness continues to reign....

"I'm in love with her, but it might not be enough to stop her from becoming the latest victim of the Debt Inheritance. I know who I am now. I know what I must do. We will be together--I just hope it's on Earth rather than in heaven."

It all comes down to this.

Love versus life.

Debts versus death.

Who will win?

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

Everything I thought I knew about what would happen and when, how it would all play out for Jethro and Nila was 98% wrong. After the way Pepper Winters left my heart in my throat at the end of the previous book, the way she started this one had my eyes bugging out of my skull.
WOW! There were so many twists and turns that I didn't know which way was up most of the time. All I knew was that I was rooting for Jet and Nila to get the happy they were working so hard for. They were in for the fight of their lives....

Nila is an absolute rock star. This woman has so much strength, grit and grace that you can't help but cheer for her. Even when she is lost in her own head and thoughts of doom, you want her to win, to thrive and succeed. To get her happily ever after with Jethro. Oh that man, Just when I think he's down for the count he finds a way to pull himself back from the brink. This guy put himself and his sanity on the line time and again to save Nila from her tormentors. Here his condition didn't hinder but helped him achieve his ultimate goal of ending the Debt Inheritance. My heart broke more than once with all the loss and suffering that everyone endured.

There was blood. Diamonds. War. Fire. Pain. Destruction. Family. Hope. Fear. Forgiveness. Death.

I will warn you and say that this book is downright gruesome in some places. Pepper spared no detail and it only added to the overall believeability of the story. I had to stop reading more than once but quickly jumped back in to find out what in the world would happen next. I felt this book to my bones. Every cut, tear, bruise, punch, kick and sigh. But most of all I felt the love. The all consuming love that had the power to change what had been fated for them. Jethro and Nila's love was powerful and deep and unconditional. I LOVED their love story. It was messy and beautiful and riddled with turmoil, just like life can be (though theirs had many more trials and tribulations). It pulled me in and kept me captivated as the words bled from the page. Final Debt gave me everything I wanted and a few things I didn't know I was looking for.
