Bad Ass Athlete: I dare you to…
Delaney Shaw: Who is this?

The late night text is random, but "Bad Ass Athlete" sure seems to know who she is…

Delaney Shaw.
Good girl.
Lover of fluffy kitties and Star Wars.
Curious.

His dare? Spend one night in his bed—a night he promises will be unforgettable—and she can solve the mystery of who he is.

She knows she shouldn't, but what else is she going to do with her boring Valentine's Day?

One sexy hook-up later, her mind is blown and the secret's out.

Maverick Monroe.
Bad boy.
The most talented football player in the country.
Just ask him.

Too bad for him Delaney's sworn off dating athletes forever after her last heartbreak.

But Maverick wants more than one night and refuses to give up on winning Delaney’s heart. She isn’t one to be fazed by a set of broad shoulders.

After the semester ends, will the bad boy land the nerd girl or will the secrets they keep from each other separate them forever?

4 Star Review by Ashley

I confess, I haven't read a book from Ilsa Madden-Mills in a bit but holy up all night into the wee hours of the morning to finish did I devour I Dare You. The dedication alone put a smile on my face. There was just something so endearing about Delaney and Maverick's story that I was legit glued to my kindle (even at 2am when I had a 5 am wake up call).

I adored Delaney. She was awkward, intelligent, shy, quirky and to be honest, a bit of a nerd. But she was also a bit fearless, and never turned down a dare. Which is how she finds herself with a secret admirer a la text message. I liked seeing her express herself freely in her messages with the mystery athlete. Except, she knew the guy.

Maverick- gah! That man- and he is all man- is what sports romance heroes are made of. I loved that besides being an athlete, he was a family guy. Wonderfully devoted to his sister and her well-being after a tragedy changed her world forever. He seemed to have the balance down until an unexpected curve ball forces him to make some hard decisions. Choices that put his budding relationship with Delaney at risk.

While Delaney and Mav were very different, when they were together, they just worked. Especially when they actually opened up to each other. From the field to cats and friendships to speculation, I Dare You was a bookworm's dream. Three cheers for the nerd girls! It was sweet, hilarious, sexy, heartfelt and swoony. Ilsa Madden-Mills crafted an whole cast of characters that made this book really stand out among other college romances out there.
