One Immortal by Tia Louise

Melissa is a vampire; Derek is a vampire hunter.
When beautiful, sad Melissa Jones flees to New Orleans with her telepathic best friend, she is looking for a cure—not an erotic encounter with a sexy former Marine.

Derek Alexander left the military intending to become a private investigator, but with two powerful shifters as partners and an immunity to vampire glamour, he instead rose to the top in paranormal justice.

At a bar on Bourbon Street, Derek and Melissa cross paths, and their sexual chemistry is off the charts. Acting on their feelings, they are pulled deeper into an affair, but Melissa is hiding, hoping to escape her cruel maker.

It doesn't take long before the shifters uncover her secret. Still, Derek is determined to confront the Old One and reclaim her mortality—even at the risk of losing his.

A STANDALONE PARANORMAL ROMANCE with an HEA based on characters from the One to Hold series. Contains voluptuous vampires, alluring alpha military heroes, scorching-hot shifters, beguiling witches, and panty-melting sexy times. Keep the fans nearby... Readers 18 and older only, please.

Four Star Review by Ashley

I will be the first to tell you that paranormal romance in not my thing. At all. But this is Derek and Melissa and I love them so when Tia Louise said she was giving their story a unique twist I knew I wanted to read it.

I liked that everyone from the series was there- Patrick and Elaine, Sloan (ick), Stuart and Mariksa. It was an interesting take on all of their relationships and connections. The creatures that each character became suited their personalities to a T. What resonated the most with me was it was still their story. The intensity. The passion. The heat. The danger. The pain. The suffering. The sacrifice. The love- most of all the love. It was palpable from the first sighting and grabbed me by the heart. Melissa was still vulnerable yet brave. And Derek was the perfect hero. Doing whatever it took to protect and save the woman he loves.

Of course there were a few twists and unexpected turns along the way. One Immortal was dangerous, sexy and spellbinding. And for this non PNR reader I found myself wanting more of the world that Tia Louise transported me to.
