Sadie Hunt isn’t perfect—but her husband is. Nathan Hunt has her coffee waiting every morning. He holds her hand until the last second. He worships the Manhattan sidewalk she walks on. Until one day, he just…stops. And Sadie finds herself in the last place she ever expected to be. Lonely in her marriage.

When rugged and sexy Finn Cohen moves into the apartment across the hall, he and Sadie share an immediate spark. Finn reveals dreams for a different life. Sadie wants to save her marriage. Their secrets should keep them apart, not ignite a blistering affair. But while Sadie’s marriage runs colder by the day, she and Finn burn hotter.

Her husband doesn’t want her anymore.
The man next door would give up everything to have her.

I was beyond riveted with this book from beginning to end.  Since I first read the blurb I just knew I had to read it.

A couple struggling with their marriage, avoiding each other and one of them feeling hurt while the other one feeling neglected and alone.

Nate has always loved his wife Sadie and would walk to the moon and back for her.  There is absolutely nothing out there that he wouldn't do for her.  He would put her on a pedestal, that's just how much he loved her.

Sadie has loved the fact that her husband will do just about anything for her but what she fails to see is that she doesn't seem to reciprocate all the things he does for her.  She will cook for him, she loves him infinitely but there are things that she just doesn't know about him, little details that didn't seem to bother Nate at first, but now that they aren't on the same page he seems to harbor some resentment towards her for a secret that she has kept from him throughout the whole time they've known each other and he's hurt that she wouldn't be straight up honest with him so he doesn't want to talk to her and he feels like he's not ready to confront her about her secret, so he continues to push her away and stays away from home as much as he can.

Due to Nate's indifference and cold shoulder, Sadie starts to wonder and starts freaking out thinking that Nate is out cheating on her.  But they've always said that if they ever get tempted to cheat, they would go to each other and talk it out so they wouldn't cheat.  But something keeps nagging her that he is.  So in the midst of it all, she meets a new neighbor in their building named Finn and Sadie starts spending a lot of time with him.  Finn seems to understand Sadie and he's there for her when she needs a shoulder to cry on or just someone to talk to when she feels lonely.  Sadie starts developing feelings for Finn and is confused now on whether she still loves her husband or if she's starting to fall for Finn.

Will Sadie cheat with Finn?  Is it possible to love two people at the same time?  What will happen with Sadie and Nate?  Will they be able to work out the bad in their marriage?  Will Nate forgive Sadie for her well kept secret?

So many questions!!

I highly recommend this book.  Hearts do end up broken and hearts that end up mended.  I seriously loved Nate because he found it in his heart to forgive his wife for what she's kept from him for so many years and because he loved her so much and was willing to fight for their marriage to survive and keep it the way it was.  He had a lot going and was stressed beyond relief and on top of their marital problems, his dad was dying of cancer.  So my heart went out to him because he was going through a lot of heartache at one time.

Ms. Hawkins, I think you did a fantastic job with this story and I adored the characters.  Of course one of them would have to end up broken hearted and that killed me but not everyone get's a happily ever after!

5 outshining stars for this marvelous book!!
