Genre: Contemporary/2nd Chance Romance
Release Date: January 23, 2019
Lilianna For so long, my very existence teetered on the brink of death That's what happens, when you lose the other piece of your heart
I can't sleep, write or work
Until, I meet him
The one who won't let me fade back into the darkness
Now, I'm feeling things that I shouldn't
But the man is determined to breathe me back to life
And, it's been so long since I took a breath
Zane
I've been called a cold heartless bastard one too many times
However, I didn't get to where I am by not taking chances
I'm the successful owner of Club Syn
And then I meet her
I'm torn between my mysterious caller and the raging storm
Now, I'm feeling things I've never felt before
One is untouchable, the other continues to push me away
And, it's been so long since I've been inspired
I’m just about to enter my room from the balcony when someone says, “And I was just beginning to enjoy the view.”
What the hell? I glance in the direction of said voice and my knees become weak when the owner of that voice strikes a match. His beautiful face is revealed in the orange glow. Normally, I’m a walking, talking Thesaurus, but he has rendered me speechless. This man oozes confidence and masculinity throughout every fiber of his being. And how the hell did I not notice before that our balconies are only separated by a wrought-iron railing? “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you,” the man said. “You were lost in thought before and I didn’t want to disturb you.” The last thing I want to do is start a conversation, but it would be rude to ignore him. Wouldn’t it? “You didn’t startle me, I just have a million things on my mind right at the moment.” “Ah, I see. And I’m not one of them,” he adds, while running his fingers through his unruly hair. “How could you possibly be on my mind when we’ve never met?” I wish I could take that back when in three short strides, the railing is the only object separating us. Which he could easily hurdle with his long legs. This is the second time today my heart is in my throat. “Oh, quite the contrary. We met at the Books & Babes afterparty last month. Briefly, I might add, but nevertheless, unforgettable.” No, no, no. It can’t be! What are the chances of me running into my drunken one-night stand? Ugh, it was the first and last time in my life that I did the walk of shame. What a nightmare this turned out to be. “I’m up for a repeat performance, if you’re game. It might be just what you need to unwind,” he murmurs, while leaning his elbows on the railing. Waiting for an answer. A month ago, I was here for a book signing which was hosted by the Books & Babes Blog. My agent thought it would be great exposure for me to meet and greet as many fans as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I truly love meeting my readers, but they only know me under my pen name, LN Avalon, not Lilianna Cavallon. Believe me, I never confided in anyone just how much exposure there really was going on that weekend. The only one who knows is waiting for my answer with a shit-eating grin on his handsome face. Dear god, a thought suddenly crosses my mind which makes me nauseous. Did he take any pictures of me in compromising positions? Are they plastered all over the internet? When his hand unexpectedly touches my arm, I recoil. “Are you okay, Lili? You look like you’ve just seen a ghost.” There’s no way in hell I can ask him if he took pics that night. Can I? ‘Cause right now I feel like I need to know, otherwise it will drive me stark-raving crazy. “No, I’m fine. I just had a thought and I must admit, it unnerved me a bit.” “Anything I can help you with?” He has no idea. “Now that you mention it, could you answer a question about that night?” Dammit, now he must think I was three sheets to the wind and I don’t remember a thing. And he wouldn’t be too far from the truth. “Of course, I’d be glad to. Do you want me to tell you how many times I made you come?” “No, that won’t be necessary.” Three amazing orgasms! That much I clearly remember. “Did you take any naked pics of me that night I should be worried about?” My breath catches when he leaps over the railing. “No, I’d never do such a thing. That’s not my style.” Am I contemplating having hot, carnal sex with him again? Yes, I do believe I am. Tentatively, I reach out and touch his chest with a trembling hand. “Do me a favor and lose the phone this time.” A devious chuckle escapes as his hands land on my hips. “It’s in my room but I think you should do a cavity search, just to be safe.” Oh, sweet baby Jesus.

Bound By Obsession
-- EXCERPT: “You shouldn’t be here.” Her voice was flat, a careful monotone. He locked down a flinch. That even, cautious tone was another departure from the free living, expressive spirit she’d been back then. “We need to talk,” he said, channeling that same flat monotone. “There’s nothing to talk about.” She backed up a pace, as though she were about to slam the door in his face. “Then you can listen.” He stuck his foot in the doorframe and locked down every ounce of emotion. “Look, I’m not here to get you back, okay? That ship sailed a long time ago. But you used to be a friend, and you’re about to make a big mistake. That’s something I can’t walk away from.” “This isn’t your business.” The skin around her eyes tightened. “I’m making it my business.” He forced the next words out, all too aware that the bearer of bad news was usually the one skewered and strung. “You don’t know what you’re getting into. Mitch isn’t the guy you think he is.” “I know exactly the kind of man he is.” She contradicted him, her voice even tighter than before. “Do you?” Tag asked grimly. “Then you know your loving fiancé is fishing at the BU and taking a new catch home every night?” Something slipped through her eyes. But it wasn’t pain. It was more calculating than that. “I don’t care.” Tag rocked back on his heels. She didn’t care? That didn’t sound like the Sarah he’d known. She must have seen the surprise on his face, because she leaned forward slightly, her voice dropping with intensity. “Look, nothing you say is going to change my mind. Nothing. Just go.” He shook his head, disoriented. Could she really have changed that much over the course of two years? The Sarah he’d been in love with would never have put up with Mitch’s bullshit. Not if she’d known about it. The Sarah he’d loved had too much pride for that. With a lift of his eyebrows, he cocked his head, studying her. Every freckle stood out like flecks of gold on her white face. He regrouped, frowning. There was something off here. Way off.
GIVEAWAY! Resisting the Rancher
Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / iBooks / Google Play -- 99 cents for a limited time! -- EXCERPT: Williams Hill dragged his hand over his face as he sat in his truck at a stoplight in Estes Park, Colorado. After two straight days of driving up from Texas, he was ready to reach his destination of the rodeo grounds in the small Rocky Mountain town. Flexing his shoulders to work out the kinks, he happened to glance over at the vehicle stopped next to him. Everything in him froze… then released in a pent-up laugh. The woman driving a shiny new black Ford truck was gorgeous with high cheekbones and pouty lips. Her long hair was pulled back in a ponytail, so he couldn’t quite make out the color, but her appearance wasn’t what had made him laugh. She was clearly enjoying a favorite song—singing and dancing for all she was worth, without a care in the world for who might be watching. He chuckled again as she did a little shoulder shimmy. Adorable was the word that struck him, and he was strangely affected, an instant attraction coiling inside in a way that surprised him. He wasn’t an instant attraction kind of guy. Suddenly, she glanced toward him and stilled as she discovered her audience. Her eyes went wide and she sent him a sheepish grin. He smiled back and pretended to tip an imaginary hat. However, instead of another smile, she went cold on him, eyes hardening, lips thinning. She whipped her head around to face forward, her chin in the air, and didn’t glance his way again. She definitely didn’t start singing again. Not that she would have had much time, because the light changed a second later. She was quick to hit the gas, faster on the draw than Will, who was still blinking at her abrupt about-face. He almost expected her windows to frost with the drop in temperature in there. A flash of bright pink on her back window caught his attention as she drove ahead of him. For the second time in a handful of minutes, Will chuckled. The sparkly sticker on the back of her truck read Silly Boys, Trucks are for Girls. Lips tipped in amusement, he shook his head. At the next light, she went straight when he turned, which meant she probably wasn’t there for the rodeo. He gave a mental shrug. Wouldn’t be seeing her again. Probably for the best, since he was here to work.

Noah Chinn was born in Oshawa, Ontario, and has never really forgiven it for that. After high school he fled his hometown in favour of the freezing winters of Ottawa. Three years later it dawned on him that higher education and frostbite did not have to go hand in hand, and finished his degree in Toronto. Shortly after university he moved to Vancouver, where he met his future wife, Gillian. He then spent the summer bicycling across Canada, which she thankfully didn't misinterpret as him trying to get as far away from her as possible. They moved to Japan for three years, where he taught English yet managed not to learn a word of Japanese. It was during this time that he had a successful cartoon series called Fuzzy Knights, which centered on the exploits of toy animals playing Dungeons and Dragons, and an evil hamster trying to destroy them. Some have called this a cry for help. He later moved to England with dreams of making it big as a writer - because with a BA in English Lit it was either that or serving fries at a burger shack. Noah's first serious attempt at a novel, The Professional Tourist, was set in a Tokyo language school. Unstable students (and teachers), biker gangs, and the homeless underworld of the Blue Village all featured in this slightly askew romantic comedy. The book landed him an agent, but not a publisher. Unfortunately, in the way aspiring actors move to Hollywood and end up as busboys, the closest he came to literary success in England was working at several bookstores - each of which mysteriously closed down after his stay. After writing several more manuscripts and moving back to Canada, he found more success in the North American market. He and his wife now live in Vancouver. He now wears a hat.

Title: Redemption
Series: Youngblood Series #1
Author: Monique Orgeron
Genre: Contemporary Romance Suspense
Release Date: January 24, 2019
Is there a road to redemption?
Her coming into my life was a miracle. She saved me. But she also came in like rolling thunder to my lightning strikes.
Opinionated, aggressive, argumentative, and fuck did it make me react. She is the first woman to ever call me on my bullshit. Causing my blood to boil like no other.
The problem is, she sees right through me. I’m a bad man with no redeeming qualities or is that true?
I might not be who she wants, but I can be the only man she will ever need, and she is the only one that can penetrate my blackened heart.
The price is high but with her, I get not one but two hearts that will be solely mine.
Fire and ice!
Freedom is all I wanted and what I got were surprises.
All wrapped up in a man that was everything I hated.
Life was supposed to be simple.
Stick to the plan, that’s all I had to do and then he came in tempting me and pushing my buttons.
So why did I let him get under my skin, in my thoughts, and in my bed?
There is too much to risk but what a delicious risk it would be.
Is it possible to love someone you hate?
TEDDY
Walking into the emergency room, I survey the place looking for Ashlyn, but I don’t see her anywhere. Strolling up to the nurses’ station, I find a cute nurse eyeing me up and down. If I had more time, I would probably eye fuck her back, but I’m on a mission.
“Hi, I was wondering if you could help me find Doctor Ashlyn Martin.”
Disappointment falls on her face. “It’s her break. I believe she’s in the cafeteria right now.”
“Which is where?”
She points the way, making sure she stretches out over me to get a touch. Yeah, this girl would be easy to take to some linen closet.
“Thank you.”
Ignoring my cock, I follow the path the nurse pointed to. When I come across the glass walls to the cafeteria, I see Ashlyn sitting down with another doctor; a male doctor. He’s not bad looking either. I wonder if he’s the reason she shows no interest in me? It has to be. It would be a reasonable explanation. She’s either interested in someone else or they’re already an item. It at least helps my ego to think they are. I’ve never met a woman who didn’t like me.
Walking up to them, she sees me before I get to the table. Her face is one of shock.
“Teddy?”
“Hey, Doc.”
The guy turns around and stands, “Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Dr. Timothy Breaux.”
“Nice to meet you, Tim.”
“It’s actually Timothy.”
Ignoring him, I sit at the table. “Doc, why didn’t you ever mention Tim to me?”
Tim looks at me and asks, “And you are?”
“Teddy Trahan.”
“And who are you to Ashlyn?” he questions.
“A friend of the family.” Looking at Ashlyn, I wait for a reaction. I can’t classify her as a friend because let’s face it, she hates me. But she can’t deny I’m a friend of the family. She works for all of us now.
I slap Tim’s back. “I’m also her neighbor. So how long have you two been seeing each other?”
Ashlyn jumps and practically shouts, “We’re not!”
Tim laughs and says, “No Ted, Ashlyn here hasn’t agreed to go out with me, yet. But I might be wearing her down.”
Did this asshole just call me Ted? I tighten my grip on his shoulder. I hated being called Theodore Jr. and I hate being called Ted. My mother called me Teddy and that’s what this motherfucker will use unless I choose to make him say Mr. Trahan. I start squeezing tighter, causing him pain, until Ashlyn says,
“Timothy, his name is Teddy.”
Clearing his throat he apologizes, “Sorry, sorry, Man.”
“It’s alright, Tim.” I slap his back again, lightening the mood.
Staring at Ashlyn, I ask Tim, “Where do you plan to take Ashlyn if she says yes to your date?”
“Why? No offense, but I don’t see how it’s any of your concern.”
Now I turn towards him and say,
“Afraid the family is very protective of her. You know her daddy would have a fit if we didn’t protect her to the best of our ability. You should remember that if she says yes.”
“Yes well, I’m sure Dr. Martin wouldn’t have a problem with it. Afterall, he is the one who introduced us. In fact, he has already given me his blessing to ask her out.”
“His blessing? Oh, you’re one of those guys.” I give him a half-cocked smile. “I’ve never needed a daddy’s blessing.”
He stands abruptly. “Ashlyn, I think I will give you and your neighbor some time to talk but I’ll be right over there if you need anything.”
He kisses her cheek and walks away.
I’m staring at her, waiting for the explosion.
“I gotta say, the man doesn’t intimidate easily.”
“You son of a…”
“Watch it Ashlyn, there are some things I don’t take kindly to being called.”
Grinding through her teeth, she asks, “Why. Are. You. Here?!”
Giving her my best charming smile, I point out the obvious, “I came for my apology.”
“Apology?!...For what?!”
“My eye, Doc.”
“I am not apologizing to you, again. It was an accident and you know it. You should be the one apologizing to me for rubbing your penis all over me.”
I lean in closer, “Doc, why would I apologize for rubbing my hard cock on you? We both know you liked it. I can still hear the sound of your whimper. If you would have let me, I could have given you so much more and dragged so many more beautiful sounds out of you.”
“Enough! Why are you like this? I didn’t enjoy anything you did, or will I ever like anything you could do.”
“You did! And you have no idea what I could do. I guarantee it would be so much better than anything Tim could do.”
“You’re ridiculous and insane. First of all, I will never know and secondly Timothy is not like that, he’s a gentleman.”
“Too bad. You need a man that’s not a gentleman.”
“Oh, I bet. Someone like you, right?”
“Bet? What an interesting word. How about I prove to you that Tim is not a gentleman.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Tim just wants between your legs.”
“No, he doesn’t.”
Her words cause me to laugh out loud. “Well I hope for you, you’re right.”
“It doesn’t matter. I’m not going out with him.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m not interested.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Hmm.”
“Why does that surprise you?”
“Because you’re not interested in me.”
“Oh my God! You think just because I’m not interested in you, that means I have to be interested in someone else?”
“Well yes. So, if not him, then who?”
“No one. Not Tim and definitely not you.”
“I’m going to figure it out, Doc. But for now, you have to go out with Tim.”
“I will not!”
“Yes, you will. We have a bet. And besides, I dare you to.”
“You dare me?”
“Yep! Come one Doc, I have to see if I was right and who knows, you might get lucky. Which means you might be nicer. Win, win for the both of us.”
“I hate you.”
She crosses her arms, looking defiant but I can tell she is thinking it over. She gives up her tantrum and asks, “What’s the bet?”
“If I win, you have to apologize with flowers, the whole nine yards and you have to admit that you liked my cock between your legs.”
“And If I win?”
“I will do whatever you want.”
She stares at me with daggers in her eyes, fuming like a dragon. I’m waiting any second for her to call my bluff, but she does the opposite.
She yells across the cafeteria, “Timothy!”
Turning, I see him looking over surprised.
“You can take me out this weekend.”
Timothy is happily smiling to an open room with his hand waving back to us. I give a little wave back at the idiot smiling. Oh Timothy, the fucker is going to make my year.
I’m feeling triumphant until I turn around and see Ashlyn’s fake smile. Suddenly I feel… feel…fuck, how do I feel?
Written by Monique Orgeron’s eldest, most beautiful, and intelligent daughter. (My sister is going to hate this part.)
My mom happens to be the most caring, loving, and stubborn person I know, well anyone knows. She gives 100% percent of herself to everyone and has given up so much of herself for my sister and I. For twenty-one years she has poured her heart and soul into making sure we know that we are loved and that we can do anything we put our minds too, but it was about time she figured that out about herself.
Up until this year I hadn’t seen my mom do anything for only her, but this book has allowed her to travel the world through the pages of a book, make new friends, and feel the joy of doing something exciting.
There is a new light behind her eyes and it is just making me feel more joy than she can ever imagine. While she might be annoying most of the time, I am so thrilled that she is finally allowing herself to grow as a person and not spend all of her energy on her family.
It has been a long journey of self-discovery for my mom; she has gone from domestic supermom to domestic goddess throughout the process of writing.
We are so very excited and proud of you! I love you as big as the world.

3 Star Review by Ashley
I'm not sure how I feel about my first book from Mika Jolie. I do love me a single dad romance. And a touch of the forbidden- hello best friends younger sister. But there was just something that I didn't connect to.
Excerpt
She moves into my space and tilts her head up, her eyes light and mischievous. âKiss me, Lucas.â
The breath leaves my lungs in one gigantic swoosh. âAre you sure?â
âLetâs give them a show.â
Iâm about to kiss Kate.
This time, Iâm prepared.
Clasping my hands on either side of her face, I angle my head slightly. Thereâs a pause. A suspended moment where our eyes meet. The swirl of emotions I see thereâapprehension, lust, desireâmakes my heart trip.
We exchange breath. And then finally, my mouth dips to hers.
I try to remind myself weâre pretending, to stay calm, and in control.
My mouth is firm against hers. Her lips are sugar plum sweet and silky soft. The kiss remains gentle, slow. We hold it for a few seconds before our lips begin to move in perfect sync, slowly, cautiously.
Curiosity nudges for more. I move my hand from her cheek to the back of her head, my fingers tangling in her hair, holding her lips to mine, silently asking for permission. To my delight, a needy little moan echoes from her mouth to mine. She wraps her arms around my neck and parts her lips in gentle invitation.
And our tongues hungrily say hello.
A stimulating cocktail of endorphins explodes inside me. Sparks fly in every direction, lighting me up like fireworks on the Fourth of July.
Every single nerve explodes with heat.
Iâm fired up. Turned on.
From somewhere deep in the recesses of my mind, I know this is a cover, that we arenât real, but with Kateâs lips on mine, itâs hard to keep that thought. On a groan, I take all she has to give and deepen the kiss, forging ahead with no regrets. No reservations.
Many tales have been written about the Big Apple. But thereâs nothing like kissing the woman youâve been thinking about for what feels like forever in the middle of Manhattan.
The chaos from the street fades. The worries of the day evaporate like a summer shower falling onto a hot car, all noise instantly muting. The click-clack of heels rushes by us. We donât hear them. People brush against us. We donât feel them.
We are locked in the present, kissing each other as equal partners in passion, fucking each other with our mouths like weâre drowning and we are each otherâs air, as if our lips were created for this sole purpose.
Talk about heaven on earth.
This kiss is easily the hottest, most erotic kiss of my life.
My pulse patters faster and faster. The heat pouring into my veins as if pumped in through a hypodermic needle has nothing to do with todayâs summerlike temperature but with desire.
I move one arm low around her back, drawing her closer, letting her feel every inch of me, how much she affects me. And we kiss and kiss and kiss.

The Princess of Baker Street
Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / iBooks / Kobo -- EXCERPT: Every day’s basically the same—it’s like the lunchtime bullying plan is set in stone, and it’s only the end of September. And it’s way worse than it was last year, even though he sat alone then too. Travis gets to sit at the jock table, seeing as he’s on the county football team. He starts in on Joey as soon as he sets his rear end on the bench and drops his lunch tray onto the sticky table. For Travis, “bullying Josie” is sort of like a bad habit he just can’t kick. But I’m pretty sure he’d say it’s more like a hobby he’s real good at. “All the way through sixth grade, Kinkaid wore a dress, like, every day after school—I kid you not.” He announces this loud enough for the jocks and the entire hot-girl table, and of course, lonely Joey, to hear. And even though Joey wasn’t hiding that he wore his mom’s purple dress after school when we all played together, blabbing about it makes me feel like we’re ratting him out. An imaginary knife stabs into my gut and twists around. I try not to squirm and to keep my face blank, but it’s next to impossible because my belly hurts like I’m having a baby. “You’ve got to be kidding me—he wore a freaking dress?” Miles Maroney is always the first guy to jump in whenever things start getting mean and dirty. “But I betcha Josie looked cute, if you go for gays.” We all laugh, and I mean all of us. I laugh even though I don’t want to. Because I still remember how it was: Joey was the Princess of Baker Street, and Travis and Emily and Lily and me all looked up to him as much as middle school kids look up to the guys on the soccer team now. Joey was the neighborhood kid with all the best ideas. None of us cared what he wore out to play—not even Travis. “What a freaking princess!” yells Noah Mayer, and we all laugh some more because Noah is the starting forward on the soccer team, and we pretty much have to laugh at everything he says when he’s trying to be funny, or he won’t pass to us. Maybe I forgot to pay my brain bill, but I know how shit like this works.
