Title: Dropkick My Heart
Series: Powerhouse MA #1
Author: Winter Travers
Genre: Contemporary Sports Romance
Kellan
Countless hours of practice, and enough determination to succeed no matter the cost is what has brought Kellan to standing at the door to his life coming full circle.
Life on the competition circuit was fast-paced, and exciting, but now Kellan is ready to settle down, and stay in his own bed for longer than a week.
Opening Powerhouse Martial Arts with his three best friends was just what they all needed to showcase their skills from traditional forms, all the way to show-style sport tricking.
Kellan thought he had it all figured out, except he didn’t figure in the sassy barista next door.
Molly
For seven years, Molly saved every penny she had to buy the quirky coffee shop on the corner.
Lattes, cappuccinos, espresso. You name it, Molly can make it.
Early mornings slinging coffee, and late nights thinking up the next new coffee craze leaves Molly little time to have a life. Her customers have become her family, and she would do anything to keep her customers happy.
Even venturing over to the new Martial Arts studio next door, and asking them to keep the screaming and grunting to a minimum. Surely one doesn’t need to scream so much, right?
With Molly throwing down the gauntlet to quiet down or shut down, Kellan does the only thing he can do.
Take off the sparring gloves, and show the barista just what Powerhouse Martial Arts is all about.
Strength, Style, & taking no prisoners.

Cover Design: Cover Me Darling SynopsisBOUND:
I want to prove my worth, show them what I have.
I may be flawed; we all are.
But I'm smart, driven, and ready to take on the world.
I wasn't counting on him, couldn't imagine someone like him coming into my life.
No one needs to know the rest.
The blue eyes, the chiseled body, the man I can't resist.
Truthfully, I have no plans of ever resisting him.
He has the carefree, playboy life he wants,
The one he created and refuses to give up.
But he didn't count on me waltzing in and changing everything.
Gray can't deny his passion for me—all parts of me,
Even the truth I try to bury—the flaws he knows I'm hiding.
And trust me, he's imperfect too.
But sometimes, we need more than love—more than we can give. FREED: Severed... I moved on.
I couldn't hold on to what was deteriorating, devastating, destroying,
Me.
Us.
Nobody could.
And now, I have real love.
The kind that means something,
Rocking in chairs and growing old.
But, choosing between the past and future is too painful.
Too raw.
Too final.
I was bound to Gray, but he lost me,
Let me slip through his fingers.
That was then.
This is now.
I'm freed.

How We Fall Cover Reveal
Itâs not always about how we fall- itâs about where we end up once we land.
I remember the very first time I laid eyes on Cole Lincoln. It still feels like yesterday when he stumbled into my life with his messy brown hair and dark eyes. Even though I was only ten years old at the time, I knew right then and there that he was going to change everything.
From that point on Cole and I were always togetherâinseparableâand I naively believed weâd be best friends forever. But forever didnât last nearly as long as I expected.
We grew up and grew apart, life driving the distance between us, but my love for Cole never faltered. Even long after he moved away, leaving me and our little town behind, I still carried a piece of him with me every single day. Because Cole wasnât just my childhood best friend- the boy who knew me better than anyone else in the whole world. He was also my first love- a part of my very core.
When a tragic death brings us face to face again after six years, every single memory comes rushing to the surface. Only this is not the boy I fell in love with all those years ago. The man before me is hardened, intimidating, and so damn sexy I practically melt when those dark eyes meet mine for the first time in six years.
And like the first time he walked into my life, I know with complete certainty that everything is about to change.

Title: The Beard Made Me Do It
Series: The Dixie Wardens Rejects MC Series #5
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 28, 2017 Cover Mode: Jacob Wilson Photographer: Furious Fotog
He’s only a friend.
“Why the hell are you out here and not in your fucking room doing that?” I asked my sixteen-year-old son, Linc.
Linc looked up from his homework, and shrugged.
The problem with Linc doing his homework out here meant that he had the TV blaring, his phone on some stupid Vine video, and his pencil tapping a million miles an hour while he hummed to some random song that only he could hear.
He was also nearly naked. Had been for the majority of his life.
He ignored me as if I hadn’t said a word.
“Seriously,” I said to him. “What makes you think it’s okay to sit here in your underwear with the fuckin’ front window wide ass open? There are people in this neighborhood that I’d rather not egg our shit. Not to mention you don’t pay the fuckin’ electric bill and it’s cold as fuck out.”
Linc snorted.
“They’d have to be able to walk close to our cars, and since most of them are old geezers, I don’t see that happening.” He countered. “What’s got up your ass?”
I grunted, walking to the kitchen to grab a beer. It’d been a long fucking day, and I had to go back to work and do it all over again tomorrow.
I was a welder for a pipeline, and my job was exhaustingly hard work that I fucking loved. I made a whack, and payed for my bills, but to do that I had to work long hours. Nearly eighty hours a week.
“Someone called for you today. A woman.”
“What was her name?” I asked, scanning the contents of the refrigerator for something to eat. “Did you eat all the leftover pizza?”
Linc and I had pizza a lot. Anything that was fast, and came out of a box, was our go-to menu item seeing as neither one of us really knew how to cook. Lunchables. Macaroni. Hamburger Helper when we were feeling adventurous.
“Ellen?” Linc guessed. “I wrote it down on the pad next to the phone.
The name ‘Ellen’ wasn’t common, but it was still impossible for a girl from my past—almost fourteen years ago to be exact—to come back and haunt me some two thousand odd miles away from where I first met her.
“What did she want?” I asked. “And you never answered me on the pizza.”
“That was gone last night about three in the morning.” Linc chuckled unrepentantly. “And I wrote it all down on the note.”
I closed the fridge and moved across the small space to the counter next to the landline that I wasn’t sure why we still had, and stared at the pad of paper with two words on it.
Club party.
“Can I go?”
I looked up to find Linc, the boy that was spitting image of me.
Six feet one, and likely to grow even more since the pediatrician said he’d likely reach my height if not more. Jet black hair with a slight wave to it, exactly like mine.
Hell, he even had a beard, exactly like me. Though, his was much more trimmed and kempt due to the school he was attending informing him if it wasn’t done just so, he’d have to shave it or leave the school.
We’d had to fight for the beard, so if he wanted to keep it, he’d damn well follow their rules or I’d make him shave it off myself.
His body mass was the only thing he didn’t have yet that resembled me. He was much skinnier, and definitely on the verge of getting some bulk, just like I had been at seventeen. But he didn’t have it yet. He was still in that in between stage that showed the promise of what he might one day be.
Me, I was six foot four, two hundred and fifty pounds of solid muscle, and had a six pack that was derived from days and days of hard work and sweat on the pipeline. I had a beard that was on the verge of being too bushy, but I’d literally lost all desire to impress anyone a long fucking time ago.
I was me. I wasn’t going to change, even though some would like me to.
“I’ll have to ask if it’s kid friendly…” I laughed when my son gave me a face that clearly said what he thought about me saying ‘kid friendly.’
My kid wasn’t a kid. He couldn’t be when he was raised by me.
I’d done my best, but I’d been more like a brother than a parent. We were seventeen years apart in age, and there wasn’t a day that went by that I did the whole parenting thing correctly.
He had to grow up faster than most. By the age of ten, I was leaving him at home for extended periods of time because I’d been switched to a different shift that equaled me not getting home from work until a little after nine o’clock.
By the age of twelve, he was spending almost the entire night alone every other day because my shifts were switched again.
By fifteen, we didn’t even pass each other for the entire day at times.
Now, at sixteen, I had a better paying position. One that equaled me working days, though they were long and just as tiring—if not more tiring—as my previous job. Being peoples’ boss was the pits. Dealing with peoples’ bullshit was even worse.
“You took me to the last one.”
I grinned. “That’s right. I did.”
“I can’t believe you’re prospecting. I’m so fuckin’ excited.”
I just shook my head.
My kid rolled his eyes at me and got up, walking toward me with a paper in his hand. “Read this and make sure it looks good.”
I grabbed the paper and read it, my heart tightening slightly when I read the words on the paper.
“You think I’m a superhero?” I asked quietly, my eyes flicking up to my son’s where he was leaning against the wall.
Linc looked at me, really looked at me, and nodded.
“Yeah, dad. I think you’re a fucking superhero.” He grated out. “Otherwise I wouldn’t be here right now, now would I? My paper was on someone who inspires me to be a better person. That’s you, bitch.”
I grabbed my man-child into a headlock and brought him in close to me, then pressed a kiss to the top of his head before taking him down to the ground and tickling him like I used to do when he was six.
“Get out of here, kid. Let me read. You get your shit picked up outside or it’ll get stolen.”
My kid left, luckily putting pants on before he walked outside to pick up his football gear, leaving me to read a paper that was enough to bring a grown man to tears.

At the same, he’s a man, having fun and living the life he has always envisioned, until a trip to Florida changes everything. Bristyl Daniels knows what it means to be smothered and bound by family. Bonds run deep with her father and all the members of the Sinister Sons Motorcycle Club she has grown up in. But now she’s all woman and wishes they would see she isn’t a little girl anymore. Then one phone call gives her a chance meeting with a hunk of a man she can’t get off her mind. When her favorite band comes to play at a motorcycle rally in her hometown, Bristyl decides it’s worth the risk to sneak off for a little fun. When a situation gets heated, though, Cooper and the Ravage MC step in, setting off a chain of events, both good and bad in both their lives. As the dust settles, Bristyl will have to come to some very hard decisions. Meanwhile, Cooper knows exactly what he wants. To hell with the consequences.
Excerpt:
Bristyl Holy hells bells. I’m not sure if I should be pissed that my brothers and father left me to deal with this mess or thank them for the gorgeous eye candy. Not that I would, because they’d have a fit either way, but damn. Maybe it’s my mom smiling down on me, giving me a ray of sunshine through this mess. All three of the guys are hot in their own way. By the cuts on their backs, they belong to the Ravage Motorcycle Club. Here for the rally, of course, and will be gone in a flash. That’s how it is. What the hell, I’ll enjoy the view while I can. I sop up the water and wring out the mop head, then repeat … again and again. Ryker, who boldly introduced himself, is a player. Yep, seen hundreds of them in my day growing up in the club. Tattoos, sexy vibe … I bet he doesn’t even have to ask women, just crooks his finger. The other man, who I’m not sure his name, looks a little lighter in a way, but I’m not sure how to describe it. Cooper, though. My heavens. Talk about charismatic, and I got that just from the few words he spoke to me. Hell, I get it just from being in the same room with him. It’s like he oozes it out of his pores, releasing it out in the world for women to fall at his feet and beg. Then there’s the hair. I can’t call it light, and it’s definitely not dark. It’s a unique combination of the two; light browns intertwined with a few darker browns, giving his hair a shade I haven’t seen before. Like a caramel color with an edge, and long. So much so that he has a hair tie wrapped around his wrist. No doubt he puts it up regularly. I’d put money on it only amping up his sexiness. When our eyes connected for that brief moment, the blue popped out in his. I also noticed some navy around the edges. That combination of hair and eyes … Be still my deprived heart. The way his pants ride low on his hips makes me want to give up all kinds of things to get him to raise his arms above his head so his black T-shirt rises up and I can see what’s underneath. He has tattoos running all up his left arm, disappearing under his shirt. I can see some black poking through the top at his neck, too. It piques my curiosity, wanting to find out what he’s hiding. I shake my head and squeeze out the mop. It’s been way too long since … Never mind.

“Stay, Finn…please,” she mutters, her fat lip wobbling. She’s killing me.
“I can’t, Hope” I shake my head and the heaviness in my heart, the sadness I feel is a fraction of the sorrow I have endured and she knows this. “I wasted ten years of my life with a man who had no intention of marrying me H, and he even took delight in humiliating me about that fact in front of all my friends. He made me feel utterly worthless and now...” I stutter and draw in a fortifying breath, “I have these men and one of them promised to marry me. I get to choose…me, I—” I clamp my mouth shut at my apocalyptic fuck-up. “Men?” she snaps. “Man, I meant man.” I wave my hand to dismiss my seemingly silly mistake, “You said men,” Hope corrects and then gasps. “Finn you didn’t answer that advert?” Her hands fly to her mouth, eyes like saucers and we both suck in a shocked breath. “I…I…—” I can’t construct a sentence. She steps up to me and interrupts so I don’t have to. I wish she didn’t. “That’s who you’ve been talking to so secretively these last three months every spare minute. That’s what all this gym shit you’ve been dragging me to morning, noon, and night for the last three months has been all about. It’s because you need to be fit enough to take on four guys?” She stares at me and her mouth is open so wide it’s comical, but I’m not laughing. I’m waiting for the scream, the howl of judgement to rain down on my slutty arse. I draw in a breath and brace. “Yes.” I tip my chin and time comes to a halt…and continues to halt I frown at my friend, the statue. Her wide emerald eyes are fixed and focused, though I’m not sure on what. I wave my hand in from of her face but she doesn’t flinch. Is it possible to be catatonic standing up? “Hope? Are you okay? You’re kind of freaking me out.” I look around to see if anyone else is observing my friend’s weird behaviour, but no one is paying us any attention. Well, other than the parking officer who is scowling between Dolly and the No Waiting sign. “Hope!” I hiss a little loud, and she blinks and gives a full body shudder, regaining her senses. “Four guys?” she asks with a degree of aw in her tone. I hesitate but answer. “Yes.” “At one time?” She arches a brow and her lips begin to curl into a wicked smirk. “Not necessarily. We haven’t actually gone over the logistics,” I reply, a little straight-laced given the topic, but we’re hardly in a secret-sharing environment. “But they wanted a twenty year old?” Her incredulous face pisses me off and I place my hands on my hips and tip my chin, my tone is a little on the defensive side. “Well, they got a mid-to-late twenty-year-old, that has worked her arse to knock the last several years off her clock…literally.” I straighten my back and subtly tighten my tummy in lieu of drawing in an obvious slimming breath. “Oh babe, you do. You look smoking hot don’t worry about that.” She pats my arms and flashes her best friend reassuring smile. “No. You need to worry more about the fact that you don’t have enough holes, because babe, that’s something you can’t fix at the gym.” She bites her lip to hold in her trademark filthy laugh, but I crack first and she’s quick to follow. She throws back her head, full on belly aching, dirty laughter falling from her lips, eyes streaming, shaking her head. “Oh my God, you’re going to be kept busy around the cock.” She doubles over at her own joke and waves me down because I think she has another. “They’re in the Forces right? They’re going to want everything to run like cockwork.” “Okaaaay then, are we finished?” I pat her back as she attempts to regain her composure. “Sorry. So sorry…too tempting, but you’re right, you have a flight to catch…the cock is ticking. No time to be dicking around now.” She snorts out another laugh. “Hope.” I sigh. “Look, Finn. I still think you’re batshit insane, but if you have to go crazy at least you’ll have lots of nuts to keep you company.” She pulls me in for a final hug, but I can see she’s genuinely smiling, and her face is a little wet from her tears, but her expression doesn’t hold any anxiousness or tension. There’s a little worry, but that’s understandable. Maybe I should’ve told her sooner. “I just want you to promise to do one thing for me.” She clears her throat and her tone is soft but serious. “What’s that?” I ask and wait with bated breath for her to tell me what she’ll need from me to ease her mind, and if it’s anything within my power. She hesitates a moment before her shoulders start to shake. “Pictures…I want lots of pictures.” She snickers some more. “I’m gone. I’ll call you when I land.” I turn on my heel and start to push the half-tonne trolley away from my best, but annoying friend. “With pictures!” she calls after me. “Sure, with pictures.” I turn my back to the trolley, so I’m facing her but pushing the beast up the ramp, away from the cars.
“You go, girl. Take one for the team! Oh wait, no. Take four with the team!” she shouts over the entire departures drop-off area, with the volume of a crowd control foghorn.

To keep a tight legal structure between Recipients and the rest of the population, the FDRâFederal Division for Recipientsâwas created, making her job as Sergeant at the NYPD hell on earth.
The real trouble, though, begins the day she becomes burdened with a case that will force her to extend the law to its limits. Worse stillâthe new Lieutenant, Aiden Davis, has set an eye on Jordan, and it doesnât help that he is an unrelenting, too-hot-to-be-allowed ex-marine and more intense than she can bear. But her past makes it impossible to get involved with anyone without resurfacing memories of the one fateful night she desperately wants to forget.
And when the one man sheâd never wanted to lay eyes upon againâthe man who had inflicted pain on her worse than anyone could ever imagine, the man who had drained her until there was nothing leftâshows up once again, her growing attraction toward the new Lieutenant seems to be the least of her problemsâ¦
I took a gulp of air bracing myself for what was about to come. Sheryl knocked on the door, and I ran my hands over my dress in an attempt to smooth out the fabric. My need for food nearly made me sick. I hoped my stomach stayed quiet.
Patrick and Davis lifted their heads simultaneously as we entered.
âPatrick,â Sheryl greeted him. Her voice changed to a sweeter tone as she addressed the newcomer. âLieutenant Davis.â
I stood next to Sheryl but deliberately stopped a foot behind her. Davis looked at Sheryl, but to my surprise, his gaze never went lower than her face despite the amazing view she provided at chest height. He gave her a short nod in greeting, neither overly friendly nor unfriendly. I bit my lower lip. He didnât seem like a social kind of guy. Was that a good thing or not?
âAh, yes,â Patrick said, adjusting the knot of his tie before standing up. âLieutenant Davis, let me introduce you to my best.â
Davis raised his eyebrows appearing surprised that Patrick was referring to two women, and it was only then that his gaze finally fell upon me.
His eyes zoomed in on my face, his stare penetrating me. I automatically held my breath. Then, he raked my body head to toe with one quick but thorough glance. Fast. So fast, I nearly missed it.
My heart did a crazy little jump. Was he checking me out? Why would he do that when a sexy goddess like Sheryl was standing next to me? I suddenly felt very naked, as though heâd just stripped me down to nothing but my underwear with his intense, unwavering stare.
Davis elegantly rose from his chair. He was so intimidatingârespect and power pouring from him in wavesâI had the urge to avert my eyes, but they appeared to be glued to his. My headache from before was suddenly forgotten.
He stepped around the desk closing the distance between us in a few strides. He towered over me when he stood that closeâclaiming my comfort zoneâhis strong neck at my eye level. I bit back the urge to step back. Or was it an impulse to step forward? Confusing.
âSergeant Jordan Lively,â Patrick introduced me, oblivious to the wordless conversation that the Lieutenant and I were having, although I wasnât sure what exactly our silent exchange meant. Standing that close, I could make out the color of his eyes that continued to bore into meâdeep blue with shades of turquoise that reminded me of the seaâs hue. I remembered seeing that color printed on the old postcards of a tropical island paradise that had been swallowed by a tsunami decades ago. I think it had been called âHawaiiâ or something exotic like that.
Simply stunning. Beautiful, drown-worthy, and unique.
His eyes flitted back and forth between mine until stopping to rest on a particular spot. I could read the question on his face. Everyone asked the same question when they met me the first time: Why was there a misshaped little speck of gray next to my left pupil whereas the rest of the eye was a regular green like the right one? I usually gave my standard excuse: Genetic. No one knew the real truth besides me.
As if on cue, Davisâ gaze landed on my scarf most likely wondering why I was even wearing one. Understandable. It was far too hot in here. I was probably the only person in this part of the country who even owned scarves.
âA pleasure to meet you.â
His voice skimmed my senses, an underlying timbre I couldnât quite decipher swinging with it. The way the word âpleasureâ left his mouth sent funny vibrations through my belly. It took me a second to realize that heâd extended his hand to shake mine. I grasped his hand, and I swear I felt a thumb softly caress my skin before he pulled away.
âItâs an honor,â I managed to say before lifting my chin a little higher. I didnât want him to think heâd intimidated me. He stepped sideways to greet Sheryl long before his slicing gaze left mine.
âAnd Detective Sheryl Frayman,â Patrick informed.
âWelcome, Lieutenant Davis,â Sheryl greeted him with a strong voice emanating way more confidence.
âThanks. Nice to meet you.â
Polite. Nothing more. Was I imagining it? I threw a sideways glance at Sheryl expecting to find disappointment on her face, but instead, she smiled after Davisâ eyes found mine again.
My heart rate increased pounding through my eardrums. Damn, it was stifling in here. The air conditioning must have conked out again.
âWhat are you specialized in?â Davis asked, perching on the office desk and crossing his ankles. Sheryl folded her hands in front of her but didnât answer. Davis looked at me expectantly. Apparently, the question was meant for me.
âMurder and rape,â I answered. No point in sugar-coating that. I swear I saw his nostrils flare a tiny bit. Yeah. The question wasnât exactly one people used to reply with âReally? What a great thing to do!â
âWhy?â he asked. That was a question I couldnât possibly answer honestly. It would be a, letâs say, extremely heavy topic to discuss during an initial meeting.
âBecause itâs so much fun,â I blurted sarcastically, quirking an eyebrow. I regretted my words as soon as they were out of my mouth. What had gotten into me? Must have been the low blood sugar. Sherylâs head shot in my direction, and I could feel her what-the-fuck-are-you-doing glare on me. I glared back, shrugging. What was an appropriate answer here?
âJordan!â Patrick exclaimed in shock, but Davis didnât seem to bother. His expression hadnât changed in the slightest still deeply lost in analyzing me. His stare made the air around me even more stifling.
He smacked his lips, the movement attracting my attention. I imagined tracing a finger over them which was silly, really. âYouâre one of the best in what youâre doing. That only comes with a proper amount of devotion,â he stated, continuing to study me carefully.
We were getting into dangerous terrain. I needed a way out, so I prompted, âYou mean the satisfaction I feel when I finally put the bastard behind bars?â In all honesty, I felt immense satisfaction when I took one of them down during an exchange of fire. It was exhilarating, giving me the feeling Iâd done the world something good. However, that wouldnât be the appropriate thing to say if I wanted to stay professional. I always tried to hide my dark side as best as I could.
âSergeant Lively apprehended over thirty criminals on her own last year,â Patrick threw in, doing his best to cast a positive light on me. âShe tends to work alone.â
Davis nodded in acknowledgment, though he seemed distracted. I transferred my weight to my other foot. God, my heels were killing me. And you couldnât even open a window when you were stuck on the hundredth-something floor!
Elodie lives in the outskirts of Vienna, Austria, with her longtime boyfriend. She is not a native English speaker, but that doesnât keep her from putting her fantasies on paper in that beautiful language. Never trained as a professional writer, she started writing as a hobby, which quickly grew into an obsession.
Elodie has an unhealthy addiction to chocolate cookies â which is why she forces herself to go to the gym twice a week â has a weakness for electronic music, and in her spare time she can be found exploring movie databases for the latest DVD releases.
Additionally, sheâs busy with reading and writing and gets easily lost in Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Erotica. In her own works, she likes to create rich dystopian stories which consist of bold heroines, sexy guys, and hot romances.
Her biggest idol is the British author, Stephanie Hudson, author of the epic saga âAfterlifeâ. Elodie secretly hopes to get the chance to meet with Stephanie one day, and talk to her about how she created the greatest story ever written.
The only thing she hates about writing is that she loses all the precious time she could spend reading the hundreds of books that are still on her to-read list.
