3.5 Star Review by Brittany:
This was the first book that I've read by S. Nelson and it was pretty good, just not great. It took me a while to get into and I kept getting distracted very easily. While I absolutely loved the characters, especially Max, who I imagined to look a bit like David Gandy, the story just didn't grip me in the way that I love. I did enjoy how there were many different problems going on in this story. The characters were working to resolve more than just one thing, and that did make it a bit more interesting, insofar as soon as one thing settled, another problem popped up, one I wouldn't have expected. Overall, I give this book 3.5 stars. I feel like this book has great potential to be so much better than it was, and I would definitely read it again if the author ever took another look at it.

S. Nelson grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until 2013. Her passion to create was overwhelming and within a few months she’d written her first novel, Stolen Fate. When she isn’t engrossed in creating one of the many stories rattling around inside her head, she loves to read and travel as much as she can. She lives in the Northeast with her husband and two dogs, enjoying the ever changing seasons.
