And that cliffhanger... I CANNOT wait for the next book. Shit's about to go down and war is about to begin. Aria and Carter are at a crossroads. Carter claims that he has no choice but to kill her family, but that would mean that Aria would end up hating him and never forgiving him, and he needs her to love him. Aria thinks that she can somehow convince him, or someone, anyone, to stop this madness and let her family live. But when Addison hears of what happened to Aria when she first arrived, she decides she can't be with someone who knew of the horrors that Carter had inflicted upon Aria and she takes Aria and leaves. Of course, they're taken to a safe house that both Carter and Daniel can monitor. I feel like I've missed Daniel and Addison's story. Was there a series about them? It's not pertinent that you need to have read it, if there is one, because there are mentions of what happened to her, but it makes me wonder if I somehow missed it. The suspense and action and twists and turns make this book so much fun to read! I couldn't put it down and ignored my family to keep reading it. Even though my five-year-old niece was trying to rush me so that I would play with her. Definitely ends on quite a cliffy, so if you hate those, wait until the next and final book comes out.
