The moment he became king, I knew we were over.
Now Iâve returned home some kind of conquering hero.
If only they all knew that we'd both lost our hearts.
If only I could stay out of the royal bed.
What good is being cocky if you canât get what you want?
USA Today Bestselling Author, NANA MALONEâs love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. Sheâs been in love with kick butt heroines ever since.
With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. The books in her series have been on multiple Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble best seller lists as well as the iTunes Breakout Books list and most notably the USA Today Bestseller list. Until that ninja job comes through, youâll find Nana working hard on additional books for her series as well as other fun, sassy romances for characters that wonât leave her alone. And if sheâs not working or hiding in the closet reading, sheâs acting out scenes for her husband, daughter and puppy in sunny San Diego.

3.5 Star Review by Brittany
Luckily, not long passed between the ending of Cheeky Royal and the beginning of Cheeky King. I was desperate to find out what happened after the ending of Cheeky Royal. Long live the king.
This book wasn't as good as I was expecting. There were some parts that didn't seem to make sense, like I was missing a paragraph or two. I wasn't entirely emotionally invested, either, but there were instances where I'm flipping pages as fast as I can, hoping that the two are going to get back together at some point. There's a twist near the end, but I totally saw it coming. And you might too, it's almost kind of obvious. I had high hopes for this book, since Cheeky Royal was a 4.5 star read for me, but this one just fell sort of flat. However, I still did enjoy it. It just wasn't as good as I had hoped.
