What a great way to start off a series!

I don't think I ever read a book or series more deprived than how Natalie Bennett writes. She has a way to twist these psychotic stories and even though they can be sick f*ckers, I still manage to get sucked into the stories because even though these people are sick and scary as f*ck, I love her writing.

Rae is a privileged girl who had to move from a big city to a small town due to certain reasons and even though she doesn't want to make friends or fit in, she manages to make friends with a girl at the diner she gets a job at. But the Blackwood twins have caught her eye and everyone fears them because their family is so powerful in that little town.

Strange stuff has been happening in this town but no one says anything for fear of the Blackwoods since they own the town. Rae eventually becomes friends with these brothers and now the question is, will she become a pawn for them?

I am so excited to continue reading this series to see where it's going to lead and what's going to happen with Rae, Kaiden and Jace.

I may be sick and deprived myself for liking these stories but damn they are so damn good. It's like watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I don't even like watching horror movies!!

But Natalie Bennett has a keen way of sucking me into her books!
