Now she writes romance with real emotions and happy endings. If Anna isn't writing or reading, she can be found by a space heater drinking a ridiculous amount of Diet Dr Pepper. She also likes to hang out with her husband and two boys. If it wasn't for them, she wouldn't ever leave the house. Anna was born in Wisconsin but now lives in the Evergreen state. I absolutely love Wesley and Quinn. The storyline was great, I think it was quite suspenseful and a definite page-turner. The only thing that I have to pick about this book, and it's quite a big one, is that I feel that characters' emotions are not written deep enough. They only feel on the surface, only do things on the surface. The writing is just not complex. I'm doing a terrible job of explaining what I'm trying to say. Let me try and give an example using two sentences. 1) "I know," she said quietly. Sentence two is better, right? Because of that little extra bit of action. The whole book was kind of like sentence one. There were some sentence twos in there, but the majority just felt like sentence one. I hope that kind of explains what I'm trying to say. I just feel like it could have been so much better. It had so much potential, but it just fell flat for me. But I will definitely be reading future books in this series, because I absolutely love all the guys at Royal Ace.
