I don't think I've read a book where I find the hero so damn HOT and makes my ovaries explode the way Alexei did in this book. He goes out of his way to help a damsel in distress when he witnesses a man harassing Ryleigh out in the streets in the middle of the night and from that point on, I can just tell you that this man kept on making my heart soar more and more with each turn of the page.
