We make them every day. Some are small and insignificant. Others, life changing. No matter the circumstance, consequences are inevitable.
I fell in love with someone I shouldn't have. When they couldn't have a baby, I became their surrogate. When it came down to it, he didn't choose me...
Now I'm pregnant, but my own heartbreak might be the very thing that destroys everything.
![]() My rating: 5 of 5 stars This conclusion was everything I expected it to be and what an ending this was. K.S. Marshall has won my heart completely with this series and she's now one of my go to authors after reading this outstandingly perfect story about hardships, decisions, friendships and love. This wasn't a light read as there was cheating involved but love triangles has always been one of my favorite tropes. Ryan and Melody were meant to be together. They've known each other practically their whole lives and have been best of friends since they first started talking to each other and well over their adulthood. But they were both blind to their true feelings for each other and when they finally realized how they felt for each other it was pretty much too late as Ryan was a married man, a married man to Melody's other best friend Raquel. This book picked up right where the first one ended and my heart was literally shattered because I was rooting for Ryan and Melody since the beginning. Him being married to Raquel always felt off to me and I knew he didn't belong with her. But now Melody and Ryan are in a huge predicament and they have life changing decisions they need to make. The question now is who will Ryan choose????? This series was so damn good and amazing and kept me up all night and then I was sitting in bed just going through the events of how this story played out. I loved Ryan and Melody so much that they have become one of my favorite couples of all time. ![]()
