I really enjoyed this cute second chance story. It all started with Allison and Lee attending the prom together and shared a kiss that made their toes curl ...... let's fast forward to 10 years later where they still lived in the same little town and neither one of them were married nor had a significant other.

Allison was tired of living a lonely life and was actually craving a forever after with someone and when she runs into Lee again and they start flirting and from the flirting they eventually start having a friend's with benefits kind of thing going, both Allison and Lee are really enjoying their time together. As the months pass, Allison has started to realize that she is starting to fall for Lee and she wants more than just the friends with benefits with him. But he's made it very clear that that's all he can offer her, he doesn't do relationships nor does he want to.

Can Allison change Lee's mind. Is she worth it? Lee is smitten with Allison and he seems to be enjoying himself and finding himself thinking of her a lot when she's not with him....so when Allison decides to cut ties with Lee, will this open up his eyes and make him realize that she's the woman for him or will it be too late?

I really enjoyed this fast paced story, I read this in one sitting and it was a great start to a new year. Samantha Lind is a new-to-me author and I can say that I am already a fan
