Confession time: this is the first book I've ever read from J. Kenner and I have been missing wayyyyyyy out (I promise to remedy that very soon). Justify Me grabbed me from the first page and I didn't put it down until there were no words left.

I liked that Riley was over it, moving out of a city that held nothing but bad memories for him. But it just took one phone call to change that. Natasha, the woman he can't help but want is in trouble, maybe. It all started with a research trip to a sex club...As it turns out- she needs more help than she thought. The threats that she had excuses for were much more serious than anybody knew.

For as independent and strong-willed as Natasha is, she still leaned on Riley. They shared a common loss that bonded them but also stirred up painful memories that they both wish they could forget. As the mystery surrounding Tasha's stalker starts to unravel, it left everyone spinning their wheels trying to get to Natasha in time. Because nobody saw it coming!

Justify Me was dangerous and sexy had me wanting so much more Riley and Tasha. I know I will be going on a one-click spree to catch up on the what I'm sure is awesome Stark International series from J. Kenner.

Hold onto your boots because Say You won't Let Go was one wild, sexy and dangerous ride. It was a wonderful mix of the suspense and sweetness that Corinne Michales can merge unlike any other.

I liked Emily a whole heck of a lot. She was nothing if not determined to make it. Given the opportunity of a lifetime to make her dreams come true, she grabbed it with both hands and went all out. Imagine her surprise when an old friend shows up to a show one night. Enter the sexy cowboy Cooper Townsend. I liked that as they were building their "relationship" they were actually apart from one another. Seeing a lighter and more easy going side to both of these career conscious people was a nice change of pace.

But as the nature of the seemingly innocent threats surrounding Emily escalate, protective Cooper stepped up to the plate and secured her a bodyguard that puts the smash in Hulk. Tensions continued to rise as the culprit continued to evade security and get to Emily.

I kept waiting for the creeper to get caught but it just wasn't happening. The longer it went on the more my mind was playing whodunit. I knew it was coming but I didn't all the twists and turns it took to get there. When I learned exactly who was behind all the danger, I couldn't believe it. Nobody could. Total jaw on the floor moment. Emily and Cooper's new and tender relationship was more than put to the test by this mans hands. But it also forced them to face their feeling head on. For as much as my heart raced, it was beating steadily and happily when all was said and done.

The last time I read a Susan Stoker book has to have been more than two years ago. But as a lover of all things romantic suspense I knew I wanted to read this one. Now, while I didn't read the book that started Sadie's saga, I was a hair lost at the start. But as I read, things became more clear and I was able to follow along as if I had read the other book.

I loved me some Sadie. She was fierce yet vulnerable. Strong and tenacious. Her bravery and beauty drew to Chase to her from the moment they locked eyes. Chase- sigh. I liked his need to protect. More than that, I loved how he made his intentions known. How he laid it all out and didn't back down. He took her demons and slayed her fears head on.

My heart was racing as the danger of Saide's situation continued to mount. I wasn't expecting things to take the booming turn that they did but geez was I on the edge of my book! Rescuing Sadie was equal parts thrilling and sweet. And I am just itching to have the time to go back and read about the other awesome characters I met along the way.

“I already said I’m not taking that job,” Declan sighed.

“And you didn’t say why.”

“Am I required to?”

“You know you’re not.” Tag stopped in front of him, his blond hair ruffling in the stiflingly hot breeze. “But this is right up your alley. You grew up in D.C. You know the people. You know the politics. You know the money.”

Yeah, Declan knew all of that way too intimately. “I said no.”

“I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t think you were the best person for the job.”

Swearing silently, Declan looked up at the evening sky until he could reliably talk to his boss without losing his temper.

Finally, he looked back at his boss. “I left that cesspool when I was seventeen, and I haven’t looked back. I’m sorry, Ian. I respect the hell out of you, and if you need me for anything else, I’ll do it, no questions asked. But not this. Fire me if you need to.”

Tag let out an exasperated curse. “You’d seriously rather take the mission in the jungle that’ll probably get you killed than work with Senator McRory and his aide on some routine security issues?”

Okay, Tag was exaggerating the risk of the South American job, but even if he weren’t... “I can’t even count all the ways I could say yes to that.”

“Fine,” Tag said, “but at least think about it. Your plane doesn’t leave until tomorrow night.”

“Yeah, sure,” Declan offered, knowing he wasn’t going to think about it at all. Not for a single second. As far as he was concerned, the topic of the D.C. job was a dead thread.

“Thanks, man.” Taggart clapped Declan on the shoulder and headed toward the parking lot.

Declan hung out for another minute, trying to decide what to do now. Going home to an empty, depressing apartment didn’t appeal to him, but neither did hitting a noisy club, not when he’d been getting so many headaches in recent months. Besides, he wasn’t the most social person on the planet and he hated the bar scene. He only put up with it because lately he’d been restless when he was alone.

Maybe he needed a girlfriend. Or at the very least, he needed to get laid.
