4 Star Review by BrittanyI have so many mixed feelings about this book. As you know by the synopsis, Mars and Sage are half-siblings, but they don't know that as they find themselves falling in love. It's very taboo, definitely not a book for everybody. I've never read a book like this and I'm not quite sure that I liked it. I'm not able to express my feelings correctly, I feel like. I liked reading the book, it's the subject matter that I'm not sure I'm okay with. I love reading the taboo subjects and I gave this book a try, but when (view spoiler) all I could LITERALLY do was yell at my kindle about how fucking stupid these people are. The writing honestly didn't seem to flow between the character's points of view. I could definitely tell which POV K. Webster wrote and which character the other author wrote, and that kind of had me not able to get into the story as well as I wanted to. Also, a lot of things in the beginning seemed very abstract and made me actually have to think, which is the exact opposite of what I want to do when I read a book. Overall, I give this book 3.5 stars. It was a good read, definitely not for everybody. Really think hard before you start this book about whether or not you will be okay with the subject matter.
