I absolutely loved it and stayed enthralled the entire time. Caden stays Caden through the whole book, but after taking BiCam at the end of the last book, Greyson now has a split, who calls herself Respite. Greyson has a past she has forgotten about, and as the book develops, you slowly piece together what happened, and it's not pretty. There's not as much action in this book as the last, which is fine, because there's more emphasis on Greyson/Respite and Caden's relationship. Oh, and really hot sex. Which is another plus. The ending shocked me. I was reading it at work and I'm sitting there with my mouth wide open, holding my Kindle right in front of my face, in disbelief that the author would end it that way. You sure had me fooled, C.D. Reiss. The series as a whole is one weird as fuck mind-fuck. It didn't make sense at times, but I think that was purposeful. This book ended it in the most perfect of ways, though I have no idea what the letter said at the very end. I feel like I'm missing something, but I'm not sure what it is. View all my reviews About CD Reiss: CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.![]() Connect with CD Reiss: Amazon: http://amzn.to/2iwpkPQ Bookbub: https://www.bookbub.com/authors/cd-reissFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/CDReiss.writer/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/cdreisswriterInstagram: https://instagram.com/cdreiss/Website: www.cdreiss.comMailing List: https://cdreiss.com/cd-reiss-mailing-list-signup/ For Text Alerts: TEXT “CDREISS” to 77948 *standard text messaging rates apply*
