Four Star Review by Brittany

This book was wonderful!

Zephyr is such a sweetheart, but has a hero complex. Malia is a doll, but has nowhere to live.
So you can guess what happens.

But what you don’t see coming is... well, I can’t tell you that. There’s a bomb that’s dropped near the end that I did not see coming and it changes everything.

I could feel the love between Zephyr and Malia. I actually, at one point, became anxious because of something that was happening in the book. That’s good writing right there.

There’s a song that I really like that I think describes these two. Never be the Same by Camilla Cabello.

“It’s you, babe, and I’m a sucker for the way that you move, babe. And I could try to run but it would be useless, you’re to blame. Just one hit of you and I know I’ll never be the same.”
