 Sins of the Father by Marie JamesBrittany's rating: 5 of 5 stars This has definitely got to be one of my favorite MC romances that I have ever read. It's also the first Marie James book that I've read, but trust me, after reading this book, it's definitely a series that I am anxiously awaiting for. Like all MC romances, we have the secondary characters and storylines that are happening at the same time as the main storyline goes on. I love it. I love how Marie James is setting up other stories that are going to happen in this series. She really does a great job of writing those secondary characters and having their personalities shine along with their storyline, without overshadowing the main line. I absolutely love Lynch. Prez. He's great. But I think I love his brother more. The dynamic between Candi and Lynch is the "I-love-her-but-I'm-stubborn-and-won't-admit-it-so-I'm-going-to-be-a-dick-to-her" trope. And of course, it all ends happily ever after, but it's not easy getting there. This book is full of action, suspense, and some really hot sex scenes. Man, Marie James does an amazing job of writing these scenes. There's even two ménage scenes in there. I'm talking fire hot. *fans self* I am so waiting for Briar and Molly's story. I am waiting for the moment when Briar finally gives up his ten year celibacy streak and has sex. That's gonna be a good one. I think I am a forever fan of Marie James now! View all my reviews
