This book broke me. It didn't put me back together, it just broke me in half. I cried like a little baby at the end. Carmen Jenner, I do have a bone to pick with you. You just can't (view spoiler) You just can't! Even though you ended it the way you did, with it nice and happy, you just can't do that! I am still giving you five stars, though, because this book was just amazing. The love between Styx and Stones is one for the ages. It's teenage love, with Styx falling for her the instant he saw her. Some people think that teenage love isn't the real thing, but I totally felt what they had for each other. It's a beautiful thing and I want that too. The only negative thing is that the cover does not match the story at all. There is only one mention of skateboarding in the book, and that's when Styx skateboarded over to Stones' house. Guard your heart with this book. It's definitely an ugly cry. And even though it does end happily, it's also not happy. I love these two characters and this book will stick with me for the longest time.
