Does the perfect holiday romance exist? The answer is yes because The Holly Dates is here! Oh my jingle bells! Brittainy Cherry knocked it out of the park with this opposite attracts romance.

I LOVED Holly. Even after having her heart crushed in the worst possible way, she was the embodiment of her name. And she wasn't going to let her Grinch of a neighbor ruin her spirit. To be fair, Kai had a pretty painful past. But under all that hurt and gruffness was this tender heart that just wanted someone to choose him.

Seeing these two be a safe place for the other to lay their pain and anger and fear was hands down my favorite thing about Holly and Kai's slow burn. She softened his hard edges and he gave her the confidence to truly be herself and speak her mind and heart.

Holly and Kai's grumpy-sunshine, fake dating romance was equal parts sweet, steamy and fa la la. Their honesty with one another was so refreshing. And I couldn't get enough of the sharp, witty banter and the family moments that brought the magic of the season off the pages.
