I absolutely love the cover to this book. That's what drew me in originally. This is my first Chicago Syndicate book and it was a good read. It's set in my favorite city on earth, Chicago. Man, I love that place.

I'm a sucker for a good mafia romance, because I love the darker side of them. This one didn't have too much of the dark aspect, which was disappointing, but they don't always have to have darkness in them to be a mafia book.

This book also has plenty of the other characters in the Syndicate, which makes me want to read them. I have fallen in love with Adriano and Luca, just like I did with Michael.

There wasn't really anything that made this book stand out, however I still enjoyed reading it. I'm disappointed at the ending, because it seems that every single romance story ends that way and I'm tired of it and want something fresh. And maybe because that's my biggest reading pet peeve.
