A life altering lie, ten years, and one wild night later, the game has changed.

Niko

My life is great. I love my job, have awesome friends, and a great family.
Women love me, even if they know it’s just for a night.
I always thought love at first sight was bullshit. Then she came storming into my life. She tore through my every rule, rocked my world, and knocked me on my ass.
There’s only one problem...she lied.
Turns out my best friend’s little sister isn’t so little anymore.

Everly

I stole a night with my fantasy.
After ten years of not seeing each other, Niko doesn’t even recognize me.
So I take what I want from him, what I need from him. Without worry. Without consequence.
What I didn’t count on was the lingering need for him.
Once the truth is out, the game changes. There are consequences.
I should have known nothing in my life is ever simple.
My brother is going to kill his best friend and I have nine months to figure out what I want.

Review by Lorena
One of my favorite tropes is the best friend's little sister/brother.  I love reading anything forbidden because you get to read about the couple sneaking around and trying their hardest to love each other behind their siblings/best friend's back.

Niko and Everly were a match made in heaven.  Everly has had a crush on Niko forever and when she decides to come back home and leaves her crazy ex behind, Niko does not recognize her and due to him not knowing who she is she takes full advantage of the situation.

Niko is a hot firefighter who knows he's a good looking cat and he can get any girl that he wants.  He does his little thing (flirt) and he has them at his fingertips, that's just how hot he is.  The question is, can he finally fall hard for someone and change his ways?

Niko and Everly's chemistry was explosive.  Their story development captivated me and I absolutely loved this story!

These were strong characters, I loved Everly because she just wasn't the type to who took crap nor was she sappy and whiny.  When someone did something to her, she didn't put up with their bull, she just picked up and moved on.  So yeah, a strong independent woman!

K.I. Lynn has had my heart ever since I read The Need Series -- she's hooked me for life!!

4.5 stars!
AUTHOR BIOS & LINKS
K.I. Lynn

K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn’t until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about.

Since she began posting stories online, she’s garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination…or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain… Usually it’s cheese.
