From USA Today Bestselling Author, A.M. Madden, is a heartwarming, childhood sweethearts stand-alone spin-off novel from The Back-Up Series.

We were destined.
How could we not be?
Our dads were famous rock stars and best friends.
As a kid, I practically lived at his house.
We did everything together.

My first kiss at only nine.
I knew I’d marry him one day.
Took my virginity on prom night.

Wrote songs about me.
Was sweet and kind, loving and caring.
The sun rose and set on him.
I trusted him with my heart.
And he loved me.

With my dad’s help, my love became a talented bass player .
He was destined to find fame.
I wanted that for him.
And then it happened.

The opportunity to tour with one of the hottest rock stars around.
Thirteen weeks wasn’t long to be apart.
Not in the grand scheme of things.
Except I had no idea who I was without him.
He got his wish—and I lost myself.
Maybe we weren’t so destined after all.

5 Heart Review by Lorena

These kids seriously had my heart in my hands. They were such a wonderful couple to read about. From the moment I opened up this book on my kindle to the very last page. The love that Shane and Alivia had for each other was like the perfect kind of love, the kind of love everyone wishes to have with their loved ones.

Granted, they had their hurdles they needed to work out, but nothing is impossible. Having parents as rockstars is not an easy feat and these two came from famous parents. The way they fell for each other and how much they cared for each other had my heart swelling. I just adored these two to death.

I have to say I haven't read the whole series but now that I've read about Shane and Alivia, I am curious to find out how the rest of the couples met and how their lives became united. I am definitely going to dive in the series soon!

If you want a swoony, YA with steamy scenes, then this is certainly right up your alley!

About the Author

A USA Today bestselling, award-winning author, A.M. Madden is also a Jersey girl whose addiction to romance started at twelve after reading Judy Blume’s Forever. As a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, she truly believes that true love knows no bounds. In her books, she aspires to write fun, sexy, realistic love stories that will stay with you long after you turn the last page. She creates realistic characters and believes there’s no better compliment than when readers felt they knew the characters personally.

When not writing, she’s busy being a wife to her soulmate, and a mother to two boys who she believes are the most handsome men on earth. She loves to cook, hates to bake, and dreams about living at the beach someday.

A. M. Madden is the author of the popular Back-Up series, as well as several other contemporary romances. She is also a published author with Loveswept/Random House and Entangled Publishing.

Her debut novel was Back-Up, the first in the Back-Up series. In Back-Up, A.M.’s main character, Jack Lair, caused readers to swoon. They call themselves #LairLovers and have been faithful supporters to Jack, as well as to the rest of his band, Devil’s Lair.
