I feel like I've been waiting for his book foreverrrr and let me tell you it was so worth the wait. Kristen Proby did not let me down at all with the broody bartender. And the parade of Montgomery's certainly kept a smile on my face. I adored Izzy. Her bravery in venturing out on her own in search of her own happiness. A life she could be proud of. And it led her right into O'Callaghan's. Yes, Keegan was taken aback by her beauty right away but he also saw her strength beneath her frazzled state. So he gave her a chance. And Izzy didn't let it go to waste. She worked hard, earned her keep and stepped up and in whenever she saw a need for help. I loved seeing Izzy come into her own. Stand up and speak up for what she wanted out of her life. And backing her every step of the way was Keegan. He encouraged her to chase down her dream with abandon. He stood beside her and fought with her when her past didn't want to let her go. And don't even get me started on the way the O'Callaghan family embraced her as one of their own (cue the happy tears). In true Kristen Proby fashion there was the unexpected twist that nearly stopped my heart like it did Keegan's. Escape With Me is the kind of book I love to be swept away in. Give me family and friendship. Give me humor and heat and heart. Izzy and Keegan's whirlwind romance was charming and witty and a true sucker punch right in the feels. And that ending!! I am so read to see what is in store for this bunch next.
