Review by Lorena I can't deny that I love me a good rock romance book and I enjoyed Gabe and Rae's story. There was just so much history between these two individuals. Gabe loved to party, he loved women and he loved his alcohol. Being a rock star gave him all the privileges that he could ever want and need, but it came to a point where he needed to stop and just focus on the band and the music so he was given an ultimatium. Gabe and the band ended up back in Georgia to take a much needed break from touring and to concentrate on making new music. But what Gabe didn't expect was to run into an old flame (if you want to call it that). Rae has held on to so much resentment towards Gabe because he just left without a trace in the world and when Rae had some news to give him, she couldnt' seem to reach him so she gave up. Rae went on with her life and pretty much tried not to think about Gabe. But when Gabe comes back into town, it's really hard for Rae to hold that grudge against him. Although, he loved women at one time, he knows that Rae is it for him and he'll do whatever he can to show her that he's a changed man and he's serious about them being together as the real deal. Gabe had a lot to prove to Rae but the man worked it. I felt that Rae could have been a little bit more of a stronger character especially with the feelings she had towards Gabe. Not that she hated him, but she resented him for not keeping in touch and forgetting about her so quickly. But I do have to say that this was a great young adult book and I love me some young adult novels. Although I wasn't crazy about Gabe at first, he grew on me and I think he ended up being an okay kind of guy and because he also redeemed himself. I'm hoping we get to read more on this super hot rock band as there's obvously more stories we need to read about from these band members. This author really knows how to write different types of books, she doesn't stick to just one same sore type of book and I love that about her! 4.0 stars for this wonderful rock book!
