Filthy Desire by Sebastian Ex

My name is Matthew Weston. Don't call me anything else, because I won't respond. And if you think you can get away with whimpering ‘Matt’ while I have you tied to the bed, about to devour you, it'll end up being your loss.
Men like me don't talk about feelings. We just don't.
What men like me do is pound. I pound the asphalt with my running shoes on morning runs. I pound a punching bag in the gym until my knuckles bleed. And when I need a release, I find a beautiful woman sprawled out on her bed, eagerly waiting for my cock, and pound her into oblivion. Yeah, that's me. I don't have feelings, and I don't do love.
At least I didn't, until the night Ella walked into my office looking like a disgusting junky to interview for a position for The Onyx Club.
She was like no one I'd ever met before. She was timid, reserved, and quite plain with her mousy brown hair and dirty clothes. Ella also had a dark and haunted gleam in her eye. A secret, a past she was desperate to conceal.
And when she called me ‘Matt’ it didn't seem to bother me.
She came into my life and turned it upside down. The only question is, can I screw her out of my system, or will my filthy desire for her keep her by my side?

This story had me since page 1.  It was so hard for me to put it down and only because I love reading about men who are such a**holes who find a soft spot when they meet the woman of their dreams, especially when they thought that they never would!  I mean, you really can't go for the soft kind all the time right!  Nothing wrong with reading about a man who is hurting because a woman left him -- but I totally dig the ones that are all alpha, dominating and occasionally cruel.

Matthew Weston doesn't care about women -- he doesn't fall in love and he could give two sh*ts if he hurts their feelings.  All he wants is to have a good time and screw their brains out.  But once these girls call him "Matt or Matty" forget it all bets are off and he takes off, for some reason he hates nicknames and wants to be called Matthew-plain and simple.  If you can't follow his rules then he leaves you all high and dry and panting.

When Ella comes into the Onyx Club looking for work, there is something about her that pulls Matthew to her.  She doesn't seem like the type that takes crap from anyone and she certainly showed him that she just doesn't care and isn't afraid.  Matt feels like he got sucked into her for some reason and he knows she is in trouble and he can't help himself and wants to try and help her.  Now, Ella is not a very attractive woman, at least in the state  she currently is in.  But somewhere deep down, Ella is a beautiful woman who is tormented and scared.

Can Matthew help Ella with her demons?  Will Ella let Matthew in and tell him her story and what she's running from?

This story was captivating and I loved the whole mystery that Ella had going.  My heart broke for what she endured and went through.  She not only had emotional scars but she had physical scars as well.  It was hard for her to trust anyone but something about Matthew had her leaning to him for protection and comfort.  Matthew pretty much came in and saved her and she swept him off his feet.

Great ending to this stand alone book.  Most definitely worth reading!
