Flame had it all...chickens, a charity auction, a touch of danger (who knew Adriana Locke had that up her sleeve?) and a love years in the making. I loved Foxx and his gruffness. His protective instinct. His loyalty. And how he never backed down when those he cared about needed him. Enter Bianca. His former charge and the woman he couldn't get out of his head. When she needed him he stepped up and in the most epic way. I loved the not so slow burn. The longing and anticipation. The playfulness. These two brought the heat! But beyond their attraction was an understanding and acceptance that they had both been missing. And while they were busy finding their footing someone was plotting... My pulse was pounding and I was reading as fast as my eyeballs would allow to see how everything would pan out. Whew! From start to finish Bianca and Foxx's story had me hanging on every word.
