**This is a full length, second chance romance**

Max & Belle's story

This isn't the man I married.
The man I married was strong, beautiful and pure.
The man I married cherished our lives together.
The man I married loved me.

This...This isn't that man.

One night. One accident. It changes everything.

I wish I could tell you the exact moment he fell out of love with me. I wish I could tell you there was hope. That I hung on. That I fought. I wish I could tell you that we fixed it. That happily every after was just out of our grips.

It wasn't. I ran, in the dead of the night, I packed my things and I left him.

Now I'm back. He's still the same man. A deadly underground fighter for the House of Obsidian. He's still dangerous. He's still broken. I still love him.

This is the part where I'm supposed to turn around and run... But I don't.

Flawed Heart is a contemporary spin off of Joker's Wrath MC Series and depicts the story of Annabelle (Pippa's roommate) and Max.  This is a book about second chance love and as per usual Bella Jewel does not disappoint. We also get some sneak peaks at the lives of the men and women we have come to love from the Joker's Wrath MC Series.

Anabelle married her college boyfriend Max. Although initially an oddball couple the two fall hopelessly in love and begin carving out their lives together.  Everything is blissful, they are happy, in love and both working hard to secure their future.  However, the path of true love never did run smooth.  There is an event which tragically alters their path's and neither of them are brave enough to confront the other.  Their relationship dissipates and their love is left in ruins.

Both Max and Anabelle made mistakes and hurt each other . Can they make things right when she returned home 5 years later or are they two different people now?

I loved how the story goes from past to present time. Giving small glimpse of what happened in the past a little at a time. Seeing there are two sides to every story. Max had his reasons for what happened in the past why he shut down and changed so much in two months and pushed Blue Belle away. Anabelle had her reasons why she ran when Max changed. This was a great story from the start college star quarterback literally runs into and falls for Anabelle who is on the opposite end of the spectrum. I also like how the only time we get Max perspective is in the THEN times and all the NOW times are in Anabelles perspective. I loved the simple way Max and Blue Belle calmed each other when they simply put their foreheads together. I also enjoyed seeing little glimpses of Pippa, Tyke, Santana, Ash and other Joker's Wrath Characters.

This is a story of love gone wrong and mistakes made. Can these wrongs and mistakes be forgiven to put a family back together or has too much time passed and damage been done to ever be able to repair. Im so overjoyed that we will be reading about Rainer and Raide soon.

“You never had to be scared of snuffing out the light in my eyes, because in case you didn’t know . . . you were the reason that light was there.

I loved both the lead characters in this series.  The hero is damaged and broken, and you can feel his sorrow as a tangible thing throughout the book.  I love that  Bella Jewel writes these fractured men, they really are amazing to read.

The character of Belle is superbly written - she is all strength, but not at the expense of being a lady.  I love that although she may not been the toughest person in the world, she has survived, and that speaks more for her character than anything else you can possibly imagine.

This book enthralled me from start to finish.  I am an avid Bella Jewel fan, and I love what she has done with this book - and I look forward to reading the rest of this series.

Flawed Heart gets an AMAZING 4.5 stars from me.
