When the devil comes to town, you have to meet him head-on.
Which is exactly what I did when Grant Stone rolled into our small Texas town, driving a sports car I could fit in the bed of my truck, wearing a suit as black as his soul. He’s here to acquire mineral rights to half a dozen farms in town.
And there’s no way he’s getting mine.
I don’t make deals with the devil.
So when he challenges me to show him the small town ropes, my motivation is the prospect of seeing him make a fool of himself. He might have an angle, but if he thinks he can finagle me into endangering my bee farm, he’s got another thing coming.
Until the line in the sand is washed away.
My farm in danger. A town in upheaval. A man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
And me in the middle.
When the devil comes to town, you have to meet him head-on.
And when he sneaks into your heart, he’ll only break it.

4 Heart Review by Ashley

For Love or Honey is the kind of book I love to be swept away in. Friendships. Family. Small-town shenanigans. Redemption. And a meet cute for the ages.

My goodness did I love Jo. She was bold and relentless. But also kind and tender-hearted. Especially where her farm and hometown were concerned. So when suit-wearing, scheming Grant sauntered into town with an agenda, he legit got egg on his face. But he would not be deterred. He had a mission and a plan to see it out. All he had to do was get through Jo.

Cue the ridiculousness. I LOVED how Jo put him to work and kept him on his toes. But while she was trying to run him out of town, the unexpected happened, they both saw another side of the other. Saw past the bravado to the heart of who they were. And when Grant's dad rolled into town, things took another turn. All I can say about that man is ugh to all the trouble he stirred up.

My heart was racing and aching at the same time while I waited to see what Grant would do. I loved how he put it all on the line to do what was right. Even if it cost him what he had come to want the most, Jo. Gah!!! From khakis to Wrangler's and marching to two-stepping, Jo and Grant's enemies-to-lovers romance had me hanging on every word. It was hilarious and heartfelt and sweet as honey. And I can not wait to see what Staci Hart has in store for the Blum sisters next!

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
