Half the crew is back at Palm South.
The other half has graduated.

Jess, Ashlei, and Erin move downtown together after graduation. While Ashlei recovers from heartbreak and makes a new plan of attack, Erin is trying to survive law school -- and her new relationship. And after the explosive season finale of Ritual, Jess has found herself in quite the pickle.

Meanwhile at PSU, Bear and Adam are in their final semesters, which means one last Spring Break to rule them all. That’s not the only thing on Bear’s mind, though -- not after he has a realization that changes everything. And while Adam and Cassie are finally back on track, their next chapter may not be as easy.

Skyler and Kip are back together after a semester apart, but while they expected a fairy tale ending, a newcomer might throw a wrench in their plans.

4.5 Heart Review by Ashley

The PSU crew is back and more dramatic than ever. To be completely honest I was a bit nervous going into this installment. I mean part of the gang graduated, were out of the house, not in the everyday. But I should not have worried because Hazed was, dare I say it, my favorite of the series so far.

I think my favorite story line this go round was Bear and Erin. Yes there are finally some answers there. And my heart ached every single time these two were in the same vicinity.

Of course Ashlei and her heartbreak were front and center too. I felt for the woman and rooted hard for her as she tried to find her footing without her dream man.

Things on campus are relentless too. Adam and Cassie are making big, hard choices that could impact the future they've fought so hard for.

As someone who graduated college more than a decade ago, the feelings Kandi Steiner evoked in this installment took me right back to that time in my life. The hope, the uncertainty, the relationships in the balance, the what now....Gah! I love these characters. This series. And while I am so ready to see how it all ends (in the next book) I also want it to go on forever.

About the Author

Picture
Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing "emotional rollercoaster" stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance -- in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you're a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she's your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women's Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her "freedom of press." She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn't writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer and sweet wine -- not necessarily in that order.AUTHOR LINKS
