She has been around for all the Sentinel Security escapades and this was her time to shine. And did she ever! I loved this smart and sassy woman. She didn't back down from a fight, assignment or world class super spy Cain 'Shade' Cavanagh. Their friendship was flirty and fun but under that light undercurrent were deep feelings that they never got a chance to act on. Until Cain needed her for a mission. As the team tried to get a step ahead of an evil mastermind, Hex and Cain were forced into some dangerous and steamy situations. I loved seeing these two let their guards down with one another and just be. And when they finally caught a break in the case, unexpected things kept coming at them from all angles. Whew! I felt like I was holding my breath as everything played out. It was wild and chaotic and had me hanging on every word. And how the day brought everything full circle. Gah- I can't wait to see what Anna Hackett has in store for this team next!
