Will she ever reveal herself to me? And if she does, will I be ready for it? 3 Hear Review by Ashley I have mixed feelings about my first read from Gwen Parks. On one hand I figured out the big twist pretty early on. On the other hand, I was kept guessing until the big reveal. I liked Wilder. She was sassy and bold. Especially with the way she approached Throne seemingly out of nowhere. But the more I got to know her, the more I wanted to know her secret. Throne too. There was something about this woman that brought out all of his protective instincts, and that wasn't just the cop in him. Combine a case that hit a little too close to home with a budding romance and a decades long coverup, and it was a recipe for mystery and drama. The whirlwind romance between Wilder and Throne in Hidden Affairs had all the elements of a good romantic suspense. I just found myself wanting more danger, more stolen moments and more glimpses into the all relationships in the aftermath. About the Author Gwen Parks writes compelling romance stories that make the hero and heroine a little desperate. She enjoys reading angsty romances in her spare time and listening to her carefully curated playlists. Second chance romance is her favorite trope to read. She loves when the hero fights for his leading lady and having the heroine a little headstrong. She loves spending her summers in the sun and out playing with her three dogs.
