PLEASE AVOID THE BLURB FOR THIS BOOK. This story will hurt you a lot less if you scroll by and go in BLIND, trust me… But if you *have* to know what you're getting into, you can read the synopsis below. I should've known better. I should've left her alone… She told me she was twenty-one. I found out that was a lie. There was over a decade between us, and sure, she was mature for her age, but I kept my distance every chance I could. At least, I tried to. There aren’t too many places to hide on a boarding school's campus, and there are far more places to get caught… I never intended for this to happen. I was her English professor, and she was only supposed to be my student. See? That’s why you shouldn’t have read this blurb and went in blind. Alas, this is an emotional ride of a romance with toxic undertones that will drive you to some unexpected places. The author just felt like writing this story one day, so don't say you weren't warned about what you were getting into. 5 Heart Review by Lorena Whitney G. always has me in pins and needles with her amazing stories. I can't get enough of her words. Again, with I Wish I Would've Chosen You, I devoured it in one sitting, I couldn't find myself to put it down, not even for a second. I was consumed with this story. The characters just embedded themselves within me and I couldn't get enough of them. They were so believable and I admired them both. The FMC for being young, she was very smart, very intellectual and she knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go for what she was looking for. The MMC immediately was drawn to the heroine but when he found out who she was and how old she was, he shut that down quickly, but she wouldn't budge and she just kept on trying to get him to notice her and would do everything in her power to get his attention, but even if she couldn't get him in a romantic way, then she would accept just his friendship. She craved attention. They had a wonderful friendship, he helped her a lot with her creative writing and her thesis, but little by little he realized that he just couldn't stay away from her and she wasn't making it easy on him either. They started a forbidden love affair and it lasted until it didn't. Did these two have their happily ever after? You'll have to read it to find out!! I do have to say that this author never fails to surprise me and I love this about her. I love her synopsis and I absolutely enjoy all her stories. I always anticipate every single one when I know she's coming out with a new one. About the Author Whitney G. is a New York Times & USA Today bestselling author.
