This book really had me from the first page and I'm really loving this series. Cali and Rocky may be very different people but they mesh so well together. Cali has found herself in a bind, she doesn't know how to work, she basically only knows how to work in retail and she's not going to go back to that. She's in desperate need of money and she really has no other alternative than to meet with a woman who will actually help her get what she needs in exchange for her "services". Cali has been paired with Mad Dog and he may not be all that good looking but he's a man with power and money, the only thing about this arrangement is that what Mad Dog wants Mad Dog gets -- can Cali go through with this and abide by Mad Dog's rules? Cali has been in love with her roommate Rocky forever, except Rocky has always had eyes only for Cali's friend but Cali's friend is already madly in love with someone else. Well it looks like Cali would like to have one night of passion with Rocky before she has to commit herself with Mad Dog. The only question is, can Cali just have one night with Rocky or will she want more with him? Rocky seems like he's starting to develop feelings for Cali himself, can he accept her going through with this arrangement with Mad Dog? Hello, I'm intrigued and can't wait to continue reading this series. Mad Dog sounds like a real jacka$$ and Rocky seems to finally have pulled his head out of his butt and realize that he's falling or has fallen for Cali.
