Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken were teaming up to write a mafia romance and I just went ahead and grabbed it. And holy crap! I was not ready for this turbulent ride that had my emotions up and down and back again. I loved the way this was written. The flashes into the past that tied right in with how things were happening in the present for Romeo and Eden. It was so obvious that they loved each other. It showed in their actions. The sacrifices they made. The looks. The secrets they kept. The betrayals they hid. Try as they might, even with all that was stacked against them, the longing never waned. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief at what I just read. Mafia Casanova was chaotic, emotional, rife with passion and half truths. Eden and Romeo's angst riddled romance kept me on a razor's edge waiting to see what one of them would do next. And be still my heart...that ending...what the what?!? I am so ready for what this writing duo has in store next (I hope).
