It was exactly what made Olivia my first read from Brooke Ramsey. That being said, I found the start a touch slow but somewhere around thirty percent things started to really pick up. I liked that both Anna and Jackson were so strong in their convictions. Working towards the same goal, just going about it in completely different ways. Anna infiltrates the organization to bring it down from the inside. Jackson going after them with everything the law allowed. With criminals and double agents and a dash of faith thrown in, Anna and Jackson's romance kept me on my toes until the end. I do wish there had been more time with them actually together as a couple, but it was also refreshing to read something that was heavy on the characters as individuals.
