Coy Mason is a jerk.
If there is one truth that Bellamy Davenport knows, it’s that. Hands-down. (Well, that and the fact that she didn’t mean to hurt him. Physically. Coy can’t be hurt emotionally because he doesn’t have a heart.)
Coy is not just the small-town, literal boy-next-door. He’s a heartbreaking, womanizing, mischief-making (and delicious) man and was all of those things well before he became a hot-shot country music sensation.
He’s a dream standing in her doorway with no shirt, messy hair, and a ‘Do you wanna?’ grin. But he’s also a nightmare for her heart and she knows it.
Their enemies-to-lovers relationship always ends the same way—heavy on the enemies, light on the lovers.
So why is she still standing there?
5 Heart Review by Ashley
I want to start this review by saying thank you to Adriana Locke. For writing Reputation with honesty and openness. Not gonna lie, this got heavy at times but I promise it is so worth the punch to the chest.
I LOVED Bellamy. How she cared for her dad. Her kindness. Her sass. Her tender heart that hated and loved Coy, the boy next door, in equal measure. Coy was no slouch either. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders. The consequences of others actions were affecting his future and he was stuck in this spiral of doubt and anger. That is until he runs face first into a fastball, and Bellamy. The woman who has owned his heart since they were kids. If only he could convince her she was his one.
Full of family and dreams and friendship, Reputation was impossible to put down. Bellamy and Coy's enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance was so so tender and full of feels. Their journey made me laugh and cry (more than once). It made me wanna call my mama and hug my best friend. And that ending! YES! Just yes so perfect- a true must read.
