The Island awaits your return.

Ties severed too soon.
What was real?
What was fantasy?

Two lost souls.
Two broken hearts.
One deserted island.

I’ll find you, she said.
I’ll be waiting, he replied.

Return to the island to discover the truth.

The island is waiting for you.

4 Star Review by Ashley

I have been waiting for this book since the stunning conclusion of Redemption Island (which you totally have to read first). L.B. Dunbar held nothing back for Tack and Juliet in Return to the Island. I really liked that this didn't pick up right after the first book. Time has passed and promises have been made, and broken.

Both Tack and Juliet had changed after their time on the Island. They hadn't gone back to who they were before, they couldn't. The lessons they learned and the longing seared its way into their heads and hearts. I loved how Juliet channeled her pain into purpose and used it for good. And Tack did too, in his own way. It was their separate ventures and Tack's good intentions that bring these two back into each others lives.

That's not to say it was smooth sailing- in fact, it was far from it. There were almost as many ups and downs this time around for them. Tack and Juliet had a lot to work through and overcome. If these two had learned anything, it's that life on the island is nothing like life back on the mainland. And that became glaringly obvious when Tack tries to introduce Juliet into his world. The tension had been building and building and I was just waiting for it the burst.Everything that had been restored was just shattered once again. My heart just ached for Juliet and Tack. That night was not what they needed.

Return to the Island was way more emotional than I thought it would be. There was something about it that got to me on a deeper level. But I loved how much these characters had grown and built themselves into something more than their situation. They found who they were and their counterpoint in each other. AND- hello steam! Whew- Juliet and Tack heated it up all over the place! But they didn't just reconnect their bodies, they reconnected their minds and hearts, too. This duet was this authors best writing. It was intense, sexy (super sexy) and really pulled at the heartstrings. I couldn't put it down.

About the Author

Avid drinker of Coca-Cola, L.B. Dunbar loves the sweet things in life. Her affair with all things romantic began with her first book at the tender age of six: Goldilocks and the Three Bears. One can never forget her first! From there, the reading journey includes a deep love of fairy tales, medieval knights, regency debauchery, and alpha males. She loves a deep belly laugh and a strong hug. Occasionally, she has the energy of a Jack Russell terrier. Accused, yes, that’s the correct word, of having an over active imagination; to her benefit, such an imagination works well. Author of over a dozen novels, she’s created small town worlds, rock star mayhem, and MMA chaos. Her other duties in life include: mother to four growing children and wife to the one and only.
