It toted all the things I LOVE...danger, high stakes, and a mystery that stayed hidden to the end. That being said, it was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I liked Quinn. She was so smart and determined to see her goal out to the end. It didn't matter who was after her and her brother. She had a plan in place...kind of. The fact that it involved her lifelong crush didn't hurt too much either. Campbell was a bit of a mess. Stuck in his head after a mission gone south but unable to walk away when it was the life of his best friends on the line. Having his team at his back helped. But more than that, Quinn helped him keep his cool when everything was spiraling out of control. It didn't take long for her assertiveness to change the dynamic of their relationship from friends to something they had both been wanting longer than they cared to admit. With the hits coming from all sides and the unknown enemy closing in, it was all Quinn and Cam could do to try and stay one step ahead. There were so many layers to the deception and double crossing that it took away from the romance between Quinn and Campbell. I wanted more of that connection between them. More than the stolen moments they got when being on the run for their lives. I also found the ending a bit abrupt but I do understand that the mission is far from over and will continue on as the series does.
