Throw some danger into the mix and I was all in for The Hero She Craves. I liked Halle a lot. She was smart and determined. Unwilling to back down from what she wanted. And she wanted Ren. Had wanted him for years and wasn't going to let her chance slip away. If only she could get the broody former military man to admit his true feelings... What should've been smooth sailing quickly became the adventure of a lifetime as they fought to survive. From the ocean to the jungle and back to sea, Halle and Ren's friends to lovers romance was high octane and kept me on the edge of my seat. And that ending...can you say full circle moment?
