Can the wounded couple overcome their secrets and invest in happily ever after? The Lighthouse Inn is the enthralling fourth standalone novel in the Shattered Cove romance series. If you like secret-baby suspense, small-town charm, and tantalizing tension, then you’ll adore A. M. Kusi’s absorbing read. 4.5 Heart Review by Ashley I'm still new to A.M. Kusi's work as The Lighthouse Inn is just the second title I've read. But if there is one thing I've learned about this husband and wife duo it's that they write more than romance. They write what I like to call life books. Books that make you dive deep and examine how you're living. I was #TeamJasmine from the start. I loved her tenacity and resilience. Her grace and yes, even her fear. She had lived a life that was harder than most but she was living it by her rules. Chasing her dreams. Following her passion and heart. Which is exactly how Atlas ends up at her door. He was there on a mission to prove himself to his family. But he got so much more than he bargained for in Shattered Cove. There was no denying the mutual attraction. It was Atlas' patience as Jasmine battled her demons that let her walls fall (it didn't hurt that he was also a rock star with the adorable Zoey). He let her in too. Shared parts of himself he never admitted to anyone before. They saw and accepted one another for all that they were and all that they weren't. And just when I thought everything was going to fall into place, the bottom dropped out. I didn't see that twist coming until it was staring Jasmine and Atlas in the face. Talk about a jaw on the floor, unexpected, life changing revelation. I loved that even in the face of this new challenge, Jasmine didn't back down. She stood her ground and fought for what she deserved. And it was the eye opener Atlas needed to make the changes in his life he so desperately wanted. Oh my heart, the way he let his actions speak as loud as his words was a ticket straight to swoon city. Atlas and Jasmine's slow-burn, small town romance was emotional and painful but also laced with moments of lightness and laughter. A.M. Kusi didn't back down from delivering the ugly side of life. But the way they allowed Jasmine and Atlas to tackle their past and soar towards their future is what The Lighthouse Inn unputdownable. About the Author A.M. Kusi is the pen name of a husband and wife team. We enjoy writing romance novels that are inspired by our own experiences as an interracial/multicultural couple. Our novels are about strong women and the sexy heroes they fall in love with, are emotionally satisfying, and always have a happy ending.
