Sometimes, there is no going back.

            I promise you, as soon as you start this book, you will never be able to put it down.

            Stephanie is your typical woman. She has a job that she exceeds at, a loving husband, and a best friend. She never thought she was lacking anything until she meets Derrick one day at lunch.

            Derrick instantly charms her. She promises herself not to let it get that far, she does have a husband whom she loves. But no matter how much she tries to convince herself, she can’t stop thinking about him.

            She starts an affair with this man, a very hot affair. He bosses her around and they have some rough, kinky sex. It’s hot. Erotic. I mean, girls, have extra batteries around. Trust me.

            When her husband finds out, everything starts to go down hill. This creates a chain of events that leaves her seeking revenge on Derrick. The most unlikely of people helps her bring him down, but not without a fight.

            The first thing I must say about this book… I did not expect it. I didn’t read the synopsis, I barely do anymore, it’s better going into a book blind. But like I said, I did not expect this! The cover made me think that it was going to be a nice love story, albeit with some hotness. The erotic factor on this novel is a scorching one thousand. Even higher than that! AND THINK ABOUT IT. A GUY WROTE THIS. So you KNOW he has to be good in bed. Either that or he’s gay. But either way, HE’S UNAVAILABLE TO US, which SUUUUUCKS, cause I have no doubt that he’d set any and every girl (or guy) he put his hands on on fire.

            This book also kept me on my toes. I finished it in less than twenty-four hours. It’s amazing I even got anything done. I mean, I have a piano exam on Monday (it’s Saturday right now) and if I don’t pass, I’m failing the class. I had to surrender my kindle to my roommate so I could practice. I just did not want to step away from this story. Not for one second.

            The only downside to this is that it is poorly edited. But, it was a fantastic book and doesn’t take away from the five star rating I’m giving it. Just needs another run through with an editor and it’ll be perfect.

            I wouldn’t recommend this to the faint at heart. There is graphic scenes of not just a sexual nature, but violent scenes along with graphic scenes of death. Not spoiling anything, just a warning.

            Now I see what the fuss is all about, Anthony Bryan. You wrote one hell of a book. Great job!
