Officer Nathan Cox lived by two simple rules: You don’t hurt women and you don’t mess with married ones. A confirmed bachelor, he avoided complications at all costs. Until complications walked through the door in the form of Vanessa Harper. Beautiful, vulnerable…and married. With her husband out on bail for attempting to murder her, Vanessa needed an ally that she could trust. Can she rely on Nathan or will he be like her husband? Sparks ignite and emotions run high with Nathan’s need to protect her, but will he walk away or break his cardinal rule? 4 Star Review by Ashley YES! Unbridled Passion is the book I've been waiting for since Nathan first laid eyes on Vanessa. Savannah Maris delivered a good mix of danger, romance and drama. I liked Vanessa so much. And the more I learned about her and the set-up that altered the course of her future, the more I wanted to warp her up and tell her it would all be ok. The level of scheming and underhandedness she endured made me more than itchy. Nathan too. There was something about the shy librarian that he was pulled to. That he couldn't escape, even when he knew he had to. Until he didn't. Anticipation was the name of the game with these two. I knew it was going to happen eventually and it was so worth the wait. While there was some back and forth from both parties, there was absolutely no denying their connection. It was more than physical. It was more than Nathan's need to protect. It was love like neither had ever known. And it was so sweet to watch them fall. But Vanessa's past just couldn't seem to let her go. As as more and more of the horrors she endured were brought to light, the more Nathan worked to get to the bottom of the mess. It was an unexpected twist at just who was pulling all the strings am I am so glad that person got theirs. My favorite thing about this addition to the Riverton Crossing series was how much Vanessa grew. It was more than leaps and bounds. She lived for the first time and it was Nathan at her side that gave her the courage to do it. And just as with every other title I've read from Savannah Maris, there were hints of what the next book in the series will focus on and my interest is more than piqued. About the Author I’m Savannah Maris, a southern girl and hopeless romantic. I’m passionate about writing stories that incorporate southern charm with a little spice. Unwelcomed Greeting is my first book and the first book in the Riverton Crossing Series.
I grew up on a farm in a small town with a love of sports, dance, and music which will show up somewhere in my books. I'm a mother to two grown kids. When I’m not writing, my husband and I are attending a sporting event, traveling, or working.
