Spiraling down the rabbit hole, I lost myself and became one of them. Living undercover within the MC, the days bled together as I became absorbed in a life of excess and violence.

Becoming consumed was easy.

Was I Thomas Gallo, good guy and respected cop or Blue, Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sun Devils MC?

Before, I could answer with certainty. But now, there’s a darkness that has settled deep in my soul, fusing with my heart and altering my reality forever.

The road I’ve traveled has been paved with danger, death, and deception.

Roxanne grew up as part of the MC, a victim of her birth. Her life has been treacherous, setting her on a course of torment and destruction.

When our worlds collide, secrets are revealed. Trying to save us from damnation, I fight for redemption and the woman I love.

This series is definitely one of my favorite.  I always think there is no way that the next book can be better than the last, but Chelle Bliss really does exceed all expectations!  I LOVED this book - and although Joe will always be my favorite Gallo, I promise you Thomas is a very close second.

This is the story of Thomas and Angel (Roxy).  Thomas meets Roxy while he is working undercover in the Sun Devils MC.  Although he loves her, he cannot promise her a life, especially when he is living a lie.  He isn't sure that she would want to be out of the biking world, and he isn't convinced that he is going to make it out of this undercover assignment alive.

After a year entrenched in this life of crime and violence, Thomas is not even sure of who he is any more.  Is he still a good guy or has this life tarnished him?

Eventually he manages to walk away from the life, but he is forced to leave Angel behind.   This is something that truly upsets and worries him, however, the orders come in from a higher power and he has no choice.  After his weeks of debriefing, he requests from his superiors that he be allowed to collect Angel and bring her to live with him.  This request is denied.  Thomas decides to leave his life in Law Enforcement.  He no longer wants to be away from the family he loves or the woman he cannot stop thinking about.

He collects Angel and brings her back to live with him in Florida.  He wants her with him and she longs for a future with him and little Thomas'.  She leaves without really knowing too much of who or what he really is, but trusts him blindly.

Angel has never had a family to call her own, and the Gallo's are a lot to take in.  She initially meets Izzy and James - and then is introduced to the entire Gallo clan.  Just as she loves Thomas, she falls in love with the family and loves how they love not only one another, but also how they welcome her with open arms.

The romance that develops between Thomas and Angel is really the stuff dreams are made of, and in parts will leave you sighing in absolute bliss and happiness.  The love that Thomas has for is really one of my favorite aspects of the book.  It is beautiful - he wants to take care of her and give her a life of love, happiness and family.

"My head said, No...just use her, but my heart was a complete asshole." - Uncover Me, Chelle Bliss

"Roxanne.  I love you.  I've loved you for a long time.  There's no one but you in my heart.  I couldn't move on without you." - Uncover Me, Chelle Bliss

Then the unthinkable happens (I don't want this review to be a spoiler, so I will just leave it at that) and the two are separated.  What lengths will Thomas go to in order to get the girl he loves back?  Is love truly enough to conquer all?

I loved the character of Thomas, he truly is a tortured soul, that your heart cannot help but ache for.  He has endured so much while living this double life and the way he is written you can feel that he struggles with all the things that he has done.  He is also definitely very much alpha, and being part of the Gallo family, he also has a dirty mouth. I loved this character so much.

The character of Angel is soft and sweet, although she has lived a rough and tough life, this hasn't impacted on who she is.  I love how she loves Thomas.  I also love the fact that although she is gentle and soft, she is tough and not a walkover.  I loved seeing her develop relationships with the rest of the Gallo's - Izzy in particular.

As per usual the Gallo Family do appear regularly throughout the book - and I just LOVE that.  It is so nice to read where they all are and to know that nothing ever changes with our favorite family.  That is definitely one of my favorite aspects of Chelle Bliss' series - the family is included and they are INCREDIBLE!

The story is told in dual points of view.  We get to see the inner workings of both Thomas and Angel's mind.  Although, I am not typically a fan of this way of writing, I actually really enjoy the way that Chelle does it and find it does not detract from the story.

I am giving Uncover me 4.5 stars!  An amazing read that will take you through the rollercoaster of emotions and leave you sighing in happiness.
I am looking forward to reading Anthony's story next - but I am not looking forward to the farewell I will have to say to the Gallo's after that.
