Animal. Monster. Beast. That’s what they call Viktor Melikov, the man who hides in the dark … But even monsters need to be loved. The moment he sees the girl hired to dance for him, everything ceases to exist. It’s a feeling he’s unfamiliar with … and craves more than anything.

Alexis Kidd sells her body. Not because she wants to, but because she needs to. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to support her family and survive.

Now she must dance for a man hiding behind a veil.
But when the urge to take a look grows too strong … Alexis gets more than she bargained for.
More than Viktor was willing to give.

Inspired by a fairytale, VIKTOR is a standalone Contemporary Romance by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling author Clarissa Wild.

There is something about Clarissa Wild's style of writing that always draws my attention.  When I read her blurbs they just stick to me and then I can't wait to get her book because I'm anxiously waiting to read what the story is about.

Viktor will capture your heart and you will be enthralled with this book thru to the end.  It will captivate you completely to the point where you don't even realize that you've reached the end.

A damaged man who seeks women to dance for him.  He normally never requests the same girl twice and the one simple rule for them all is that they could never look at him.

Alexis is the first girl to break that rule.  Will that rule also jeopardize the risk of her ever returning!

Alexis is an escort but she does this in order to provide for herself and her sister, she's all she's got and she will do whatever it takes to make her sister happy.

But her sister decides to do something drastic that will inevitably lead to Alexis to live in the mansion with Viktor, this is her punishment for her sister's mistake.

This beautiful fairytale story will leave you with your heart pounding and with a very happy smile on your face.  Fairytales are beautiful and this story was beautifully written and had a great plot to it.

Even though Viktor was pretty much an ogre (who can blame the guy!) he had his good moments that made you oooh and ahhh throughout the book.  He had a good heart after all!

This was a great read, with some twists and turns and some parts that left you with a soft heart.

4.5 star read for this amazingly great fairytale story!!
