When We Touch by Tia Louise

Ember Rose was spicy-sweet seduction.
My biggest temptation.
My biggest regret.

I thought she’d always be waiting for me.
I was wrong.

Now I’m back in Oceanside searching for peace, hoping to escape what my life has become.

She isn’t supposed to be here…
Dark hair blowing in the ocean breeze,
Luscious curves barely hidden by thin cotton.

I didn’t come back for her.
But when we touch, I know I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

4 Star Review by Ashley

There are few things I like more than a thoughtful and swoon worthy second-chance romance and Tia Louise hit the bullseye with When We Touch. Sweet, spicy cupcakes this book was divine.

There was something about Ember that had me rooting for her from page one. She was kind and determined to make her dreams come true. All while making sure her exuberant little girl had every opportunity she wanted. What she never expected was for Jack's return. The one who stole her heart as a teen, took it with him when he left Oceanside. He never gave it back and she never quite recovered. What she didn't know was that Jack lost his heart too. But he was determined, no matter the obstacle, even if it was Ember, to win her back. To make up for lost time and to have the future they had been denied for years.

While every story needs a villain, I didn't expect it to be who it was in this one. When the truth of what really happened between Jack and Ember came out I was just as hurt as they were. Thank goodness for the sweet innocence of Coco to lighten up some of the heavy that seeped into the pages. I was so glad when Ember found her voice and stood up for what she wanted and who she wanted to be. And there to stand beside her, and let her shine was Jack.

Insert a big happy sigh here. From penis cakes to small town antics and big city problems, When We Touch left me smiling from ear to ear. Jack and Ember's story proves that, even when the odds are stacked against you, true love always finds a way.
