About MR. BIG
Once upon a time, I had everything: money, power, a multimillion-dollar company, a loving family. Well, at least I thought I had everything. Then my parents died, and I found out my whole life was based on a lie. That’s pretty much the moment when I went numb. Told the world to f*** off and went on a bender of epic proportion, just to see how far I could fall before I hit rock-bottom.
Now I’m back and all I want in this world is my morning—okay, afternoon—coffee. Then one of my employees has the nerve to call me out for cutting the line at the coffeehouse at the company I own. Sure, I’m a little scruffier than usual, but come on, bitching out the CEO? Not a smart career move. Just who does this smart-mouthed ball-buster think she is? And more important, what do I have to do to get her number?
Holland O’Dell may be uptight, but I wouldn’t mind taking her back to my place and ripping off that business-casual blouse/skirt combo and burying myself in her curves. She pushes my buttons, but at least I’m feeling something. And whatever it is, I won’t stop until I get more.

3.5 Star Review by Ashley
Delancey Stewart is brand new to me but I've heard some buzz around her books and decided to give this a read. And let's face it, the cover of Mr. Big really grabs your attention!
I liked the premise, the girl with the plan meets the guy who has none. And rightfully so. Everything Oliver thought he knew was ripped away from him in one tragic accident. He was spiraling out of control, throwing away everything he had built over some anger he didn't know how to handle. That is until a firecracker of a woman sets him straight. I loved Holland's take no prisoners attitude. She had been dealt a crap hand all her life but was determined to prove her worth. To earn her way to the top of the mans world she found herself working in.
This unlikely duo form a quasi friendship that is based in jokes and analytics; until Holland decides to take it to another level. Everything is coming together for Holland. She's got her dream guy and things at work are looking up too. That is until an unexpected but not so unwelcome surprise throws all of her plans off track.
For me, this is where things get a bit wonky. From here on out there is a lot of back and forth between Oliver and Holland and I lost the connection that they had built so soundly and thoroughly in the first two thirds of the book. Overall, I found Mr. Big to be ok. Though they do eventually get their HEA, thanks in part to a super sweet gesture from Oliver, it felt a little forced. I just wanted a little something more to bring it all together.
